I'm hopeful that you get your truck soon. If it's already in transit a week, you would think they would move it on forward the rest of the way. But then again we're living in a strange, uncertain world.

when was it built…i thought mine which was built 8-31 was waiting for more trucks to come to Ga but yours shipped 8 days after mine was built!!

Maybe delivery still possible news said teamsters won’t cross the strike line. So hopefully train yards are a neutral place

Mine is sitting in transit — about 10 miles from the dealership, and Ford chat understandably wouldn't comment if deliveries would be affected. If the strike takes place and my truck is not at the dealership, I will contact them and see if they can “just get it.”

I'm thinking that is more the case. Teamsters won't transport any vehicles from a plant that has shut down due to strike but will otherwise keep their own people working elsewhere.

My MY23 Maverick XLT Hybrid is on a Union Pacific train that is currently in Tucson AZ on the way to the Intermodal - Dallas (Mesquite) railyard where it will be unloaded and transported to AutoNation Ford Frisco.

ETA is 9/27/2023 to 10/03/2023 for delivery to the dealership.

I tried searching via google and viewing the above linked website but I cannot get any information if Teamsters work there or if any unionized workers do the unloading of vehicles from the train or do the loading onto car carriers that deliver to the dealerships.

Does anyone know if Teamsters work there?

Gee, The UAW ONLY wants a 46% wage increase. I was once in the UAW, not that I ever wanted to be, and the company I worked for shut down in August, 33 years ago. Hunting seasons start opening up in September, so they are in no hurry to get back to work. Figure out how much a new Ford, GM or Chevy vehicle, made under UAW contract, will cost in the future.
