That's the main reason I wanted one. But I removed it from the order because at the time, the XL trim, Hybrid, and Hitch Receiver were all constraints. Shortly after removing it from the order, my truck was scheduled for production.

IIRC, the factory hitch receiver can be ordered and installed later, but would be pricey.
Correct,

I waited a year to the date to get my 2022 XL Hybrid.

I noticed a lot more Hybrids in the wild now finally. But most of the ones I have seen don't have hitches. When asking why, I mostly get, "well, it's not like you can do much with it."

Well, I do much, my hitch came from the factory on my 2022 XL Hybrid. I have a moonroof, and center console plug ๐Ÿ”Œ as well. I installed the remote start system at the dealer so I can remote start it with the key fobs.

I have been wilding out as much off road as I can do in my Hybrid, I know the limits now. But to go further I return in the Tremor, then do Tremor things. I have driven and hauled in the snow โ„, towed our tent trailer loaded down with the whole family [minus the dogs didn't have the softopper yet], I go to the dump, I tow a uhaul trailer loaded up to the dump, I have brought home 1000's of pounds of tile, I have road tripped, my Wife has road tripped in our XL Hybrid. We love our Mavericks.

I would say after 34000 miles in ten months the Hybrid does MUCH.

I attached some photos of MUCH.

I hope these help give a well rounded view of what you can do. Have fun booyah ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Great post! Your photos should be on display at your nearest Ford dealership so sales can point to them when a customer asks, "So, what can this truck do?"

I tow constantly with my 23 Lariat Hybrid. I pull a landscape trailer loaded with mowing equipment; pull a Missimo Buck UTV; pulled a trailer loaded with 58 2 x 6 x10' treated and the list goes on and on. Maverick never even grunts - just gets the work done.

Good post.
For the most part.
I see you wimped out on the trailer. ๐Ÿ˜œ
But, you've seen more snow than me, which is zero. I think I beat ya on trailering. (With added equipment.)

And the engine won't overheat. At least not at 96ยฐF on 6% sustained grades.

BUT the generator motor will. At high RPM the gas engine is spinning the generator really fast, not so much the wheels. So the generator gets hot.

Keep that power meter under 50% sustained (you can go higher a minute or two here and there) and You'll be fine.

That said, I have the ScanGauge, part of my aftermarket 3k tow package "upgrades" and I'd consider what is pictured absolute maximum and 65 mph is maximum (62 mi / 100 km per hour is comfortable) so you're gonna need to slow down in Texas, Utah, and Nevada.

Do you have some close ups of the fog lights ๐Ÿค”, and info on the installation.

Well, I glad you have your Maverick. And yes the 100 bucks for the hitch, brilliant. I bought BFGoodrich Trail terrain 235/65R 17 at 500 miles in. The stock tires are quite a bit lacking. I have roughly 65% life left on my BFG Trail terrain's tread after 34000 miles by the tread depth measurement.

The snow โ„, well there is two answers.

Without cables, we have driven in multiple snow storms with constant movement. I believe the snow on the ground was zero to five inches. But with cables multiple storms with six inches to a foot of snow on the ground. And yes I would saw pretty wet snow.

Very confident, with the Maverick Hybrid. Use you modes and turn off traction control.
Nice pictures. Living in flat hit Sofla. Please explain the reasons to turn off traction control. Cables? Like snow chains? As you can see living down here has made me quite ignorant of other parts of the country. Thank for the patients.

GPSMan,
Can you show the ScanGauge you use, where you bought it, benefits, any negatives, mounting, etc (maybe start a new post on it, or a post on what you did to make the 3k package).

The traction control delays the wheel ๐Ÿ›ž spin or potentially keep you stuck or not allow to to get out of being stuck.

The cables have to be used being there is not enough space in the fender well for the chain slack. FWD and AWD vehicles should use cables as a rule of thumb ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ, because most of these types of vehicles lack the spacing to allow chains โ›“ to function properly.

Traction control off while using cables is my preference, the traction control had gotten my stuck to many times. So I don't use it, and specifically turn it off when I'm in snow or off road.
