GPSMan,
Can you show the ScanGauge you use, where you bought it, benefits, any negatives, mounting, etc (maybe start a new post on it, or a post on what you did to make the 3k package).

Booyah! So funny.

It's nice to see the hybrid towing some stuff. Mine's supposed to be made in a couple weeks (week of 9/25). 🀞 It will be replacing my F100 as far as towing and hauling goes and then I'll be able to tinker with my F100 without having to worry about having it in one piece, so I can drive it to work, etc.

Looks like you have a similar vintage of popup camper to mine. Believe it or not, but the hybrid will be much more powerful than my F100. lol. Weak smog era 302.

My only question, like the F100, will the Maverick still be towing a trailer 45 years from now?

My first official truck thing; new burn barrel.

Did your truck come with those center tiedowns (where the screw holes for the aluminum track are), or did you add them?

$15 on Amazon. I debated between V rings and D rings, and went with these because of the price and package quantity. I was thinking of doing the box channel, but I decided nobody needs that much granularity on where to attach a tie down.

I was considering doing the same thing but was wondering if the rigidity of some kind rail might be better. Do you have any concerns about strength of the tie down point or deforming the side panel if you ratchet something down tight?

I don’t know the specs, but I can’t imagine a scenario where it wouldn’t be strong enough

I noticed a lot more Hybrids in the wild now finally. But most of the ones I have seen don't have hitches. When asking why, I mostly get, "well, it's not like you can do much with it."

Well, I do much, my hitch came from the factory on my 2022 XL Hybrid. I have a moonroof, and center console plug πŸ”Œ as well. I installed the remote start system at the dealer so I can remote start it with the key fobs.

I have been wilding out as much off road as I can do in my Hybrid, I know the limits now. But to go further I return in the Tremor, then do Tremor things. I have driven and hauled in the snow ❄, towed our tent trailer loaded down with the whole family [minus the dogs didn't have the softopper yet], I go to the dump, I tow a uhaul trailer loaded up to the dump, I have brought home 1000's of pounds of tile, I have road tripped, my Wife has road tripped in our XL Hybrid. We love our Mavericks.

I would say after 34000 miles in ten months the Hybrid does MUCH.

I attached some photos of MUCH.

I hope these help give a well rounded view of what you can do. Have fun booyah πŸ‘ŠπŸ½πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

34,000 miles.....yikes! I've had mine for 6 months and have 2400 miles on her. Been perfect, and I love her! BTW, you are cute too!
