Is there a preferred trash bag for this bin? Plastic grocery bags work but they overhang quite a bit.

There isn't a super ideal sized bag. But if you go on Amazon and search for 1.2 gallon bag, that is about as small as you will find. Even if you search for "1 gallon bag", most of the results will be the 1.2 gallon bags. I just try to stuff the extra bag into the can so there is only a small amount of bag outside the can and pinched between the lid and the body.

I still can't leave a review on it. The cupholders fit a 12 oz soda can nearly perfectly.

The problem you might have, however, is that a lot of drinks you might want to carry are larger than that. They don't fit.
