Ford Drop In Bedliner Install

I have placed an order for a 24 hybrid XLT with the lux package. That means I'm stuck with the OEM DIBL, although I would prefer an aftermarket SIBL. My question, is whether the DIBL is prepped to received the cargo management rails I will have with my current Maverick? Are the mounting holes visible or hidden behind a DIBL panel? Will transferring them be a major pain? Can I assume the DIBL includes a cover for the tailgate?

Wait, the XLT LUX doesn’t come with a drop in bedliner included right? Mine didn’t…

Installed the Ford Drop in Liner. Very easy especially if you have a Jig Saw! Took about an hour and a half and looks great. I highly suggest not ordering your truck with it and installing it yourself! (That way you don’t have a building constraint)

FOLLOWING UP:::
I used Ford Rewards to purchase my set of 5 drop-in bed liner panels. I was particular about cutting panels; placing protection at rub points, and added black matte vinyl anywhere the paint color would show through. The material is thick and seems pretty durable, and I’ve place the Ford rubber bedmat (doesn’t fit perfectly) back in for grip.

The DIBL is functional (free-to-me) option, but if you have the opportunity for using Ford Rewards for a SIBL, that is what I personally would have done. I’ve had Line-X before and liked that’s just fine.

BOTTOM LINE:::
Definitely a good decision to protect the bed of the Maverick! I would do it again if similar circumstances exist.

No video but if you have a jig saw or oscillating saw it’s a piece of cake! The back side has lines to follow along while cutting

I've had plastic drop in's in my last 3 Rangers for the past 33 years and never had rust issues on the interior of the bed with any of them. The trouble I did have was with the old school first one the plastic rubbing against the paint. No a problem with the last two and will not be a problem with this one. Everyone gets set perceptions about things. My neighbor tells me I should not be hosing the bottom of my lawn mower after each use as it will induce rust. Huh????

With the dealer giving me 20% off and using the points I will get the bed liner for $160.00. Gotta be smart with my money.

The washers go under your bracket hardware. This is the link I used for instructions. They helped me greatly!!!

They go under the bed side tie downs to level them with the liner. Here's a great vid on the install.
