So my Tremor has been home just 3 weeks now. So far it has nearly replaced our Bronco as our tow vehicle. If I have to do any bigger trailers or two a vehicle very far I will probably still use the Bronco, but for short strap car tows or our little 5'x8' Karavan trailer from Home Depot, the Tremor does the job perfectly. So far I have done a 500lb dump/recycling run, a sub 1000lb greenwaste run, and today I did the big bad heavy dump and scrap metal run. Loaded up was 6 trash can varying from 50 to 100lbs, a 50 year old stove, a camp oven, a couple bikes, a dissasembled eliptical machine, a stationary recumbent bike machine, old iron gate chunks, a 3x5 chrome steel mall display table, a rim firepit, a bunch of random metal chunks and a few parts from a squat rack, 2 45lb plates (for forward weight), some old T posts, 3 soggied bus seats, a soggy 3 place bucket/bench seat out a Dakota, and a few other bits of crap.

It was a big load and I could tell it was way over its 1483lb weight rating. But I felt it was safe enough for my 20 mile straight drive to the dump. Including its empty weight I was probably towing 2500-2600lbs. Reasonable enough considering the one difference between the Tremor and the 4k is radiator size. Also the trailer was tail heavy and I had to add 90lbs of weight to the front to balance it so that takes alot of the suspension issues out of the equation. The only real thing standing in the way of my dump run is our 16-17 degree, U-turn, rutted gravel driveway. Here is the footage.

Here is the second half of the climb. It did really well. Pulled solid the whole way up, never slowed. I used Mud N' Ruts mode with the rear locked. Its hard to tell but there is offset alternating dips along the way starting right when you see the Tremor. They are about about 6-8 inches deep. So it rocks the vehicle back and forth to find traction. Im so impressed with this truck.

That is awesome. I haven't towed with it yet but I've taken it up to my mountain property in Boone, NC with some 12 degree rutted out roads getting up to my property, and up to 15 degrees on a little hill in my brothers front yard.

It has impressed so far. However I scrapped the underbody on a fairly low curb. Really need to be careful as we don't really have 9.3 inches of ground clearance and the suspension components are fairly low hanging.

Where it has clearance it will go. Where it doesnt, it will still go but scrape lol. Really cash strapped for atleast the rest of the year. But I'm hoping a lift spring set comes along with a equal 1.5 or 2 inch lift. Im not gonna do a shorter rear spring unless I also find someone selling just a rear spacer to go with it. I guess I have a while until these tires wear out. For now Im gonna keep putting it to the test stock. Next week we are taking some freinds to Hana in it. Should have a few opportunities at some obstacles out there. Atleast a couple sand tests at Honomanu and Plenty Kiawe.

I've got a trip planned back down to the property in October with one of my best friends since childhood - I'm sure we'll find some shenanigans to test the Tremmy a bit more.

Oh he does multimedia for a long serving US senator....

He's geeked out with all sorts of gimbals and 3-axis tech that flies over my head like one of his drones....

But we should get some excellent shots.

I have a wife with a phone who is usually willing to get all the shots I ask for. Once we get some stay in the house rainy days this winter, she will possibly make me a nice compilation video of our offroading.

Does the Tremor have the trailer brake or is that only on the 4K tow package

Does the Tremor have the towing package transmission? I understood it has the radiator.

It has the upgraded cooler and gear ratio, aswell as stronger axle shafts. Because of it's cut chin the radiator is smaller. Closer to the standard size, possibly the same.

I will make sure to keep posting videos whenever I do something challenging. I thought this was a great "grit" test. I wasn't 100% sure it could do it, but it just clawed it's way up there.
