General Question - Window Sticker Arrival vs Actual Build Day

Hey everyone, 2 things. First off, unsure if this is the correct spot for the general question, and secondly I did skim through the MTC site and didn't find exactly my question. It could have been answered already, but I just suck at finding it on here.

My question is when did you get your window sticker vs actually being built? This week is supposed to be my build week and I spoke with Ford Chat last week Monday and they informed me that I had a build day of 8/30/23. Based on some posts I have seen on here, most of you got the window sticker information at least 7 days before the actual build day, and some even earlier. So I assumed by Friday I should have gotten something, and Friday came and went. So I check in with Chat this morning and they informed me that my build day has moved (which I understand, can and does happen)... but its now showing 9/2/2023 on their end.... aka... Saturday. And that does not sound right to me.

I ended up sending my 4th sales associate (since I ordered my 23 almost a year ago) an email asking them if they have any other news for me, but I almost guarantee they wont respond, or they will with no idea about any updates on my order. The sales side of my dealership has been very bad, but shop side is amazing.

So that's why I am asking all who read this. When did you get the actual window sticker information vs actual day it was built, and has anyone had a build day of Saturday and if so, what ended up happening? Just trying to not jump on the worried train that something is F'd up with my order.

I got my sticker about seven days before it was actually built. Given you were punted to next week, it makes sense you won't get it until this week sometime.

Date on my Window sticker is 8/2 and it didn't get built till 8/25. I got it this early because of the 2 week shutdown. I was able to see my window sticker early by going to this link, add your VIN at the end: https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=

I kept clicking on the window sticker link provided by the Ford tracking e-mail. Then I took my vin and put it in one of the look ups I found by googling "window sticker". That gave me my window sticker several days before it would appear from using the Ford tracker link.

I have tried a few of the general google search window stickers and nothing. I have been using the ford one and I always get the 404 error...check back later. I hope I don't get bumped back another week, but there is nothing I can do about it but sit back and hold on.

Its just odd to me that they would give a scheduled date of a Saturday. If they do not work on Saturdays, why wouldn't it automatically push the build to the following week then? I just want to get the legit the vehicle is being built email/update and all my nerves will be calmed. Currently still have the slight fear that somehow my order is F'd up and because the rollover deadline is passed, I would be having to jump through hoops and different ford corp people to get me then prioritized above all the other orders and such because my 23 order got screwed up somehow.

So for me, My original production date was 7/31, then it was 8/01, 8/02, 8/05, then ended on 8/04. I didn't receive my window sticker until 7/29. I didn't go into production until 8/05. So while dates are a good go by, They arent exact. I've put all my dates in my signature if you want to see my timeline of events.

Doesn't all clicking on Ford websites and checking when your truck will be built; drive you nuts. I never called the dealer, never checked out a sticker link, or did anything else. I drove my 2014 Jeep until the call came and all I was, was happy.

How did you know what your original production date was? Or are you referencing the "scheduled build week" from the Ford Corp email? I went about talking with Ford Chat last week to ask if I have an actual build date and they informed me of the 30th, and that fits in with the scheduled week of the 28th my Ford Corp Email said. Then asked chat today and they said 9/2 (saturday).

Even tho your production day moved, you still got your sticker 2 days before original production day. If mine was the 28th, I should have gotten it already, and if it was the 30th, I would hope to get it today.

That's why I wanted to ask on here when everyone got their sticker information vs actual build date. Majority (from my browsing on the site) seems to be that everyone got it before their scheduled week. But this is my scheduled week and have no updates or window sticker. If it turns out some on here ended up getting the window sticker on the same day as production began or something last minute, that would help with the nerves. But otherwise it feels like I should have gotten the sticker already, or something may be wrong... I guess worst case I should find something out by the end of the week.

It doesn't drive me nuts, not knowing is. My dealer started off doing shady sh*t and prioritizing big spenders and friends/family/connections to get better priority codes than others... and I got kicked to the bottom of the list from the start. Almost had to be a rollover due to dealer allocations. And I am slightly worried they may try and pull the rug out and sell it from under me if I dont keep my eyes on my order. (possibly that wont happen either, but im not going to take that chance). So I am trying to stay on top of this whole thing to show I had 100% interest to buy the vehicle and emailed/called/constant communication I want the Maverick I ordered. So I am just trying to stay on top of this to minimize the chances that it may happen.

I used the order tracker on ford's website. While it does say the week of, The date is more likely trying to represent actual production date the closer you get.

So the biggest thing I would say to look for is whether your truck is marked ready for production. That is where production has a green indicator vs a check mark in the vehicle tracker. Once it shows ready for production, then it you'll likely get the window sticker.

Mine still just a green dot in "scheduled week of 8/28/2023". nothing in production circle yet.

Just chill. It will get built soon. There's nothing you can do to speed it up and the dates may change again - mine did.

I ordered my Hybrid XL last Sept. and I got the window sticker about a month ago - several weeks before the Tracker changed to Built, last week. Then it showed Shipped the very next day. Now, I wait for delivery...

I ordered mine 9/22 and got it 5/23, but I had a good experience with my dealer I apologize if I discounted anyone else's waiting issues it was not my intent.

The window stickers are generated when the vehicle is invoiced to the dealer. Usually 7-10 days before the build date.

I don't know for sure when that is sent to the customer.....

If you message me w/your VIN, I'll try looking up your window sticker for you.
