Build date vs. actual delivery

My build date was allegedly December 10. Does anyone have an idea of when I might expect delivery? XLT Hybrid

Did you get an email directly from ford about the build date?

One used to be able to say 2-8 weeks after Ford confirms production is done. The extended time accounting for the possibility your vehicle will be selected for a QA round after production.

With the pandemic going? It will arrive approximately when it arrives at your local dealer.

The dealer told me it was December 10. I know the salesman so I think he actually knew the date and didn’t just fabricate it.

The process for special orders is supposed to include your dealer submitting your email to ford. Did you sign a DORA and provide a copy of your driver's license? Not saying they are playing games, just that it doesn't seem like they followed the process that's been laid out.

I'd call ford.

I provided a copy of my license but never signed anything.
