A friend has Dupuytren Contracture and recently had surgery in F'vlle on his left hand to correct it. Lotsa physical therapy involved, but he's pleased with the results, even though it may later return. Best wishes for your healing!
I’ve got it in both hands three last fingers on left hand and pinky on right. My left hand the contracture isn’t as far along as my right. My right pinky is pulled all way back against palm. I’d planned on going to see an orthopedic surgeon when Covid hit so put it off. then about time Covid tapered off a friend’s wife had to have hand surgery. They messed up and had to remove three fingers then a week later she developed a blood clot and it killed her. So I’ve not worked up courage to go. After all this time I’ve learned work arounds to most problems from it. Now with broke pinky I’ll probably have to go see one. So if you ever meet up with a maverick owner with messed up hands that’s me.
That's great mileage!22 AWD lariat, Best partial tank yet. Made a trip flea marketing from West Memphis to Searcy and back out US64 both ways. Used cruise extensively and ran posted highway speeds. 213.5 miles/5.18 gals=41.2mpg. fillup at same pump coming and going one click then next click. Not bad for considering about 20 miles of city driving with a dozen shut downs and restarts at flea markets. I forgot to take pic before refi
I’ve been really amazed at mpg of this little AWD Maverick . Best full tank was a trip from West Memphis to El Dorado and back. Took interstate kept cruise on 65(stayed in right lane) 605 miles with about 10 miles to empty. 37.6 mpg hand calculated. Won’t try that again as I don’t like to get below 1/4 tank, but just had to try the 600 club.
Well worth the wait. Did you get a Hybrid or Eco? Mine is a Eco AWD, don’t drive that much in town so probably not worth swapping to a Hybrid. But I would like to give one a whirl just to see what she could do. Good luck on your soon to arrive Mav. Mine is in shop having airbag recall done then the body shop going to fix some damage to underbody by running over an 18 wheeler tire on the interstate. Hope to have her back by middle of next week.
Went and looked this morning to see how things were going on my Mav. They got the airbags replaced but the mechanic that was going to do it(and trust) was tied up on another job so they put another young mechanic on it. Greasy finger prints all over headliner and scratches all over top of dash, including two medium size gouges. Service manager looked at it and was PO at mechanic said he was going to do some butt chewing. By time I got back to my other car there was a worker in my Mav.

What dealer did you use?I would be very pissed if that happened to my brand new ride, but not surprising, after reading other similar stories about the air-bag recall work. If they don't make it right, you should talk to Ford corporate at 800 334-4375 and also the GM at your dealership.
We used Randall Ford as they were the closest and Granger wasn't taking any more Maverick orders when I went to pick up my Ranger last year. We have a 24 Hybrid on order from both Randall and Granger. We'll see how much we like the Ecoboost and then switch up if I still want the mileage of the hybrid, which is what we initially ordered last year.Congrats on getting yours. And good color choice
