By price spread I mean how much they pay to aquire a Maverick versus their asking price when they put it up for sale.

I’m not considering selling my Maverick, but I am curious about Carvana. For example, I see that they have a zero options 2023 XL Hybrid with 184 miles and an asking price of $38,990. $14,800 above MSRP for a new one.

How much above MSRP is Carvana paying for these lightly used Mavericks?

I received $32,870 fo my 2023 XL Hybrid with less than 100 miles on it and with tow and co pilot 360...carbonized grey....at the time I was seeing them advertised for between $34990 and 36990 within 500 mlles of my location...must have gone up in the last month or so...

Thanks for that. I thought they would want a lot more personal info to make an offer, like a VIN, my name, phone, etc. But I don’t like spam and I don’t trust them so I don’t want to give Carvana my email address.

The Carvana website is geolocating me by my IP, so part of price they show me includes shipping.

They plan on having it resold before they get it unloaded from picking it up. Carvana struck a deal with bondholders to restructure their debt just last Monday or Tuesday to allow over 1 billion $ working capital. I checked KBB yesterday and my 2023 A51 Hybrid XLT w hitch and inverter with 204 miles showed well over $38k private party. So maybe A51 is unobtaniumish?

I did a submission to Carvana a couple weeks ago, just to check, with a 200miles 2023 XLT Hybrid with hitch, CP360, spray in bedliner and rear slicing window. And Carvana only offered a little over 28k.

That does sound a bit low ball, considering what they are listed for. I had not thought to check KBB. But after MakinDoForNow mentioned them, I see that KBB says my current average trade in value is $32,000. That’s for an XL Hybrid with a trailer hitch, silver paint, and 55 miles. My MSRP is $24,270 (that includes the February $500 price increase).

I did Vroom and KBB last week for my 22 XLT with Lux, CP360 and sliding rear window etc. KBB was 28K and change, Vroom was 32,788. I have a 23 Lariat scheduled now so I was curious on whether I should trade (sales tax savings in PA) or sell to one of these type of sites. Will try again as I get closer to delivery and see if dealer will match.
