First timer , but yes haldman ford was great experience, put my order in first thing Monday, but i haven't gotten the confirmation email yet , should wait to call ?
Nope. If your order is filed with Ford, they respond very quickly (1-2 hours, even) IF they have your correct email, as provided by the dealer. Don't call Ford and ask them to correct/add your email. They'll tell you the dealer has to do it.

I’m sure he’s buried in orders and roll overs. I’m very impressed with him compared to others I’ve dealt with.
I am sure. Just hope the hybrid order goes in before order bank closes.

Got my 2024 Lariat Hybrid in Atlas Blue ordered on 7/17. Received confirmation from Ford. My 23 XLT ordered for my Grandson is scheduled for 8/21/23. All is good!

My dealer was able to submit my order today at 2:17 pm CST and I received the email from Ford at 2:23 pm CST. Here are details:

It's just trust now....and save the email where they agree to X-Plan. But you now have your X-Plan price number. (Plus up to $100 Doc fee). After seeing all the issues here, I stayed on top of my dealer, always expecting the worst to happen...but everything remained above board with no nonsense. My local dealer was great, so I gave them my repeat business.

Before my first order, I did cruise around their lot looking for nonsense fees added to their new cars, I didn't see any, so I felt reassured.

They didn't even hassle me about extended warranties. Just asked once if I wanted one. The price I paid was exactly the X-Plan price, plus $100 DOC, and some $35 lien processing fee. I didn't have a concern about it.
Excellent- thanks for your help. I felt they were above board before, and they are on the 'approved' list here, but they also have a Mav on the lot with a $5k markup as well so that made me a little leery. Emails are pretty clear and now I have the right numbers on a sheet that shows the X-plan. I think Ford would greatly frown upon them trying to charge a markup on an x-plan deal, so I feel pretty safe. I suppose they could still try the mandatory scotch guard or windows etching or something, but I don't get that sense - and I'm not sure they are allowed to have 'mandatory' add-ons with x-plan anyway. Will end up saving me about $740 off MSRP plus the lower Doc fee (I think law here is $150 max and that's what everyone does), so about $800 total. Nice!

That's so odd Wayne Ford is who didn't want to get me a sheet in writing promising MSRP with no dealer addons. I had to negotiate off the etching before I put a deposit but then claimed the paint protection which who knows what that would cost but I couldn't get an out-the-door price from them in writing and they claimed they don't do that because MSRP can change haha. I told them just put MSRP is subject to change on the write-up.
Also, if MSRP changes after your build is submitted but before it’s built and delivered, Ford refunds the difference to the dealer. Therefore there is no risk to the dealer to lock in MSRP with you And no reason The dealer should try and charge you the higher MSRP if it’s a trustworthy dealer.

I was not aware so yeah they were just shady and I didn't want to be excited waiting and then get hit with surprises when it came in. I'll see if I have the energy to try another dealer tomorrow.

Should i call the dealer?
You could call Ford Customer Service (assuming you have your order number and info. They can tell you if there is an order in their system. If there is, then likely your dealer didn't enter your email into the system correctly... But there won't be a hurry to get your dealer to enter it in correctly. You just won't get updates until it is done.
