Got my email confirmation really quickly after leaving the dealer this morning. They only did 2023 roll-over orders yesterday, so I was their first "new" order. Ordered a Hybrid Lariat in Hot Pepper Red. Waffled between Red, Atlas Blue and Azure Gray right up until placing the order and felt a relief at the decision being done, only to have the salesman tell me I likely had a bunch of time to change the color even after the order banks closed. Will probably stick to red, but will be second guessing it for months. Was all set on Cyber Orange until they discontinued. Sad that none of the colors are very bright.

Either way, super happy the dealer gave me a sales contract we both signed showing the X-Plan pricing for me and know I will love it in any of the 3 colors. Since it's a hybrid, the new game is "will it arrive before my X Plan PIN expires the end of May 2024 and not require me to get a new PIN"...

When I built my Lariat online it was 40,3xx
But at dealer with all same options it went through and is 38,905. I double checked everything and exact same. Maybe it had something to do with Ford getting their pricing corrected today. From a different thread I seen.

Just asked for my deposit back Dealer didn't want to give me the out door price or DORA in writing. Does anybody know any trustworthy dealers in north NJ before the order banks close?

Since prices have increased for 24MY, Why would Ford build my hybrid XL in 2023s last few weeks of prifucwhen they can charge me more for a 2024?
Doubtful a transition offer will cover the full increase. *sigh*

YES. My sales guy just me the DORA. I am supposed to get X-plan so I have to fix that but they do send it.

I already had my deposit returned with that dealer and someone here suggested a dealership I'll see if I can call and have them do an order for me.

The 4K could delay it but they can be built - my 2023 Lariat had the 4K. Mud flaps, tonneau cover, bed extender could mean it doesn't get built. They can be bought cheaper at Ford accessories, especially with Ford Pass points and easily added when it arrives.

Thanks for the sage advice! I called the dealer and those items are being removed from my build as I type this. Now I just have the Lariat AWD in Azure Gray with the FX4 Package, the 4K Towing Package, the Engine Block Heater, and the 17" wheels. I'm going to order everything else from them once the truck ships and will install those items myself.

That's so odd Wayne Ford is who didn't want to get me a sheet in writing promising MSRP with no dealer addons. I had to negotiate off the etching before I put a deposit but then claimed the paint protection which who knows what that would cost but I couldn't get an out-the-door price from them in writing and they claimed they don't do that because MSRP can change haha. I told them just put MSRP is subject to change on the write-up.

I’m sure he’s buried in orders and roll overs. I’m very impressed with him compared to others I’ve dealt with.

Update: Sales rep got back to me already and now the preview includes the discount line just like yours does. He said his GM showed him how to display it like that. I'm not sure that he updated the order (I asked him to), but at least I feel better between him confirming it in email and sending a new order preview. Is there any way to verify it once it starts processing or is it just trust at this point?

It's just trust now....and save the email where they agree to X-Plan. But you now have your X-Plan price number. (Plus up to $100 Doc fee). After seeing all the issues here, I stayed on top of my dealer, always expecting the worst to happen...but everything remained above board with no nonsense. My local dealer was great, so I gave them my repeat business.

Before my first order, I did cruise around their lot looking for nonsense fees added to their new cars, I didn't see any, so I felt reassured.

They didn't even hassle me about extended warranties. Just asked once if I wanted one. The price I paid was exactly the X-Plan price, plus $100 DOC, and some $35 lien processing fee. I didn't have a concern about it.

Guys I just want to mention that if you are still looking for a dealer who will sell you a Maverick order at MSRP with no other fees (like no dealer fees, no doc fees etc) you should contact Parker Ford in Murray Kentucky. Thats who I used for my order and we've bought 2 previous trucks from them. Its a dealer unlike any other. You can talk to someone (Ryan) who's family owns the place. He's a straight shooter sales guy. Just FYI. I think they have some room left for further orders. Say Justin from NC sent ya.

First timer , but yes haldman ford was great experience, put my order in first thing Monday, but i haven't gotten the confirmation email yet , should wait to call ?
