Hey all,
I have an order for a 2023 and received an email stating "you order is confirmed & scheduled for production the week of August 28th". If i go into the tracker (I did get a VIN) it shows order confirmed but nothing scheduled? I contacted Ford chat and they say it is scheduled for production August 28th. I contacted my dealer and they state it is scheduled for August 28th and estimated delivery date of first week of October.
I am a little worried that the production date was just an "estimate" and I should be placing an order for a 2024 under the same sales order based on forums here, however the sales rep states everything is "good to go" and can think of any valid reason to do so. I agree if it's scheduled, since only unscheduled 23 orders are supposed to follow that ordering procedure. I'm kind of stuck in a tough spot....

1. Is anyone one else in the same boat? If so what has your dealer stated about it?

If you have a production date, and a vin it’s getting built as that model year.

That’s what I was thinking, but it’s odd it’s not in the tracker

Someone asked a similar question in a different thread and the response there was that it takes a while to update the "Pizza tracker"

If you search for that term you should be able to find the answer. I think you don't have anything to worry about.

The tracker is notorious for its inaccuracies and buggyness.
I wouldn't fret.

This is correct. I suspect it will show as “scheduled to week” in the tracker within a week or two. Nothing out of the norm here.
