Purchased this XLT 2.0 EcoBoost FWD, what questions do you have?

Audio question.. can you change radios stations and or tracks from usb music from the steering wheel controls? I don't see a track adjustment button on any trim levels.

Would you mind removing the license plate and seeing how it's actually mounted? A lot of people are concerned they drill holes, but it looks too me like it's similar to my F-150 and they could have cleats that are gripping the lip of the bumper.

Holes have to be drilled in the painted portion per my dealer. Very unsightly IMO, luckily my dealer does not install the front plate bracket unless requested.

I have to have a front plate in my state, but I don't want the holes in the painted portion just in case I move to a state that doesn't have the front plate. Going to mount mine so there are no visible holes in the event I no longer need a front plate.

Here's a good picture @slashy42, two holes in the upper painted portion and two holes in the lower black valance panel. Four holes total have to be drilled.

No lumbar adjust on the seat, just up/down, front/back, and lean

What’s your average mpg been so far?

26.3 average, I can get about 32 on the highway if I drive like a granny

Rare to see an EB 2.0 that isn’t FX4 at this point and is FWD. How tall is the truck? Ride height seem okay compared to other SUV’s on the road?

The total height is about 5’9” so just a tad shorter than me, ride height is comfortable, it rides like a truck without me feeling like it’s too big, the lowest part of the truck is the front mud guard

How do you feel about switching? Any regrets so far on not waiting for the hybrid? I'm getting tempted to go ecoboost, not because it may come sooner but worried I may miss the power.

I like the eco boost, I wanted a hybrid only for the gas mileage, but this is getting better than my 2011 Altima I was driving till then, no regrets not waiting

Thanks! kinda strange the volume buttons are on the left side while the track change is on the right. Glad it works though.

One last question about audio.
which USB slot controls the music media? Usb A or C?
I hope its Usb A so I don't have to buy a new usb c flash drive.

Does the mud guard screw on individually or is it part of the valence/air dam? I think it is present in every pic I've seen regardless of trim.

If you are referring to the front mud guard in the photo next to my shoe that one screws in individually, not sure what the screws might also be holding however

Would you measure the width and depth of the rear seat bottom for us to be sure the 4knines rear pet cover (regular size) I referenced in my last post will fit? Otherwise the one I ordered will go in my 2015 Civic.

for anyone wondering the 4knines regular seat cover fits beautifully on the Mav seats, only consideration is the wrap around is a little lower than the seat lift tabs so you may have to hunt for it for like half a second if it gets tucked weird, but really no biggie.
