Okay, whew, got that off my chest. I'm ready with my MY2024 pre-order with a good delear based on details from the MY2023 materials.

Best part of southern Arizona in mid July... Too hot... nobody's kicking tires anywhere on a Monday morning... Dealerships will be a ghost town... plenty of opportunity to engage the salesman 1 on 1 while we fine tune the order details as we find out more on the MY2024 packaging/pricing.

You are welcome to order from Long McArthur Ford when the year 2024 order bank opens. You just need to figure out how to get the truck from KS to TX. But if you plan to order for year 2024 with them, reach out to them about pre-order, as I recall they did take pre-order last year for 2023. Good luck.

LM has said they may not take any new 2024 Maverick orders because they have so many 2023 orders unscheduled they will have priority and may take all of their allocation. If they do take the preorders they will surely notify you that you possibly have little chance of getting it unless Ford gives them many more allocations. Maybe with the 3rd shift coming online they will bump up all allocations.

Ford can't even fulfill 2023 orders. I wouldn't call it an order so much as a lottery.

No, too far. I'm using Horne in Nogales, Arizona, under a 1/2 hour from me. Small dealership but adequate allocations. Good ratings for service, unlike Jim Click Ford in Green Valley, which is closer to my home.

I visited them today just to make sure everything was good with my Pre-Order. I didn't get the same level of confidence from the salesman as I had initially. Feel like come 7/17 (or whenever order banks open) that there is going to be allot of pressure and scrambling... Perhaps a good dose of "Oh, don't worry, we'll settle all that when the Maverick gets delivered" speak. Which I won't tolerate.

I took time today to travel there so that we came to a solid agreement on all of the details about pricing and rate protection, etc... Important becuase I fly out tomorrow at 5am for a 5 week work trip; requiring me to conduct everything over the phone to finalize everything when the order banks actually open.

I feel less confident today than I did when I first submitted the pre-order details back in Sept 2022. Now, I'm hoping Order Bank opening doesn't occur until August. LOL!!!
