I think it’s BS. My dealer just called, my Hybrid Lariat just got a VIN and scheduled .

So what is the hold up boss man?Yes, that is accurate, but you are reading it wrong. I don't think anyone understands the terms used and is quick to blame "The EPA". It takes a day to test a car at the lab if it is chosen to be tested, not months.
https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/how_tested.shtml
" Fuel economy is measured under controlled conditions in a laboratory using a series of tests specified by federal law. Manufacturers test their own vehicles—usually pre-production prototypes—and report the results to EPA. EPA reviews the results and confirms about 15%–20% of them through their own tests at the National Vehicles and Fuel Emissions Laboratory. "
Ford has not submitted their numbers yet. We know this because it's public information. So what is the hold up boss man?
I operate under the assumption If the numbers were ready they would be submitted. Why wouldn’t the numbers be done?Ford has not submitted their numbers yet. We know this because it's public information.
I don't run Ford. I just know how the process works.I operate under the assumption If the numbers were ready they would be submitted. Why wouldn’t the numbers be done?
Its probably AWD.I have no idea I order my hybrid an dlr said 3 to 7 months. But I seen a gas xl on lot an the invoice didn't make sense an dlr couldn't answer.it had 3 options spare tire 115.00 a pitiot which is 540 an some 400w inverter for 400.but what didn't make sense was option 100a 3595..according to build my maverick site I thought that was standard.this 19.995 truck has a msrp of 28.000k.
lol any day now means nothing, sounds like your dealer making up stuff just to get more sales , find another dealershipI heavily doubt what your dealer said. Another dealer near me has Hybrids scheduled for production any day now
Expected to arrive sometime next week I think. These were all retail orders and none dealer stock.
They are not approved for sale period. Doesn't matter if they ship. please post a picFunny I was just at my dealer yesterday and checking on my order and looking to see when they may be receiving their initial delivery. I had found out that they were expecting 5 units. Yesterday I saw the order sheet and all 5 in transit and one (1) was a hybrid XLT.

People will tell you to go to a different dealer if they tell you the real time line and to go to a dealer that says they will be here in a few says lol ... just a heads upI have no idea I order my hybrid an dlr said 3 to 7 months. This is because it has the eco-boost engine and All Wheel Drive. The cheapest (no other options) gas xl would be $22575:I have no idea I order my hybrid an dlr said 3 to 7 months. Neither were the EB until they were, and they produced a boat load of them in August without "government approval." They were all shipped after OKTB. Ford wouldn't be scheduling / building (not to mention promoting on social media) the hybrids if there were deeper issues. They are not approved for sale period. Doesn't matter if they ship. please post a pic
