Best Color Tailgate Letters for Hot Pepper Red?

Hey guys and gals!

My hot pepper red hybrid is finally built and shipped as of Friday night! I'm expecting to go pick it up in a few weeks, and I can't wait!

In the mean time, I'm trying to decide on tailgate letters. I am 1000% getting them, but I'm looking for pictures of various letters and styles to decide exactly which ones I want. So if you've got an HPR Mav, can you drop a picture of your tailgate letters for comparison?

White looks good on A51. I think it would pop on Pepper Red. To Volks question, because it looks boring when it matches the paint color.

OP, make sure you clean the tailgate and then use a mixture of soapy water on it as you apply the letters. Allows you to adjust them easily. Then pat dry with a towel being careful to not move them. Really easy application.

yeah, I'd say your in the minority... I'm getting hot pepper red and I'm going to use flat grey as the letters.

Go poke around on the hot pepper red club thread, you'll see plenty. My truck got scheduled, won't see it for several months, but I already have black letters for it. I think the black on the back picks up the dark trim, the bumper, looks like it belongs, IMHO, of course.

I have gloss black lettering with a silver outline. To me, the black lettering without any outline on HPR looks bland. The silver makes the color pop. But, that's just me. I can post a picture of it if you'd like

My 2 cents = Pepper Red letters with Black outline...

Go with the flat Black (Matte not glossy) they look great, and match all the other black things on your truck.

anyone with experience with flat vinyl over plastic raised letters i like the receessed look of the flat ones but do they standup as well as plastic

I was thinking of doing this too. Try and match the grey rokbloks mud flaps
