I got my "we're so sorry, we promise" email this morning despite the fact it was over 2 weeks late. Anyone else in my position? I know a lot of you all were saying yours were late as well, and were hoping it meant your truck was about to be made.

Same here. Received my two week late sorry, not sorry, note at 9:52pm on 5/11/23. To add insult to injury I received an email advertisement from Ford at 8:59am on 5/12/23 introducing the new Ranger. Maybe Ford is telling me something regarding the probability of my Maverick being built…

Got my 45 day "still thinkin' of ya" email last nite just after my Suns were eliminated. Thanks Ford, for the timing. In hopes that maybe someone at Ford monitors comments here, I am providing some suggestions for the next 45 day message:
Dear Mr. and/or Mrs. Ford, while I appreciate the 45 (50) day emails, please consider including information that might be useful to those of us waiting in line to give you some $30,000+ of our hard earned money. For example, "We here at Ford currently have XXX unscheduled Maverick orders awating a scheduling slot. Of these, XXX are EB's and XXX are hybrids. While the number may change due to many variables, we anticipate having XXXX slots available for scheduling before the order banks for '24 models open in July and XXXX slots available before the anticipated '23 manufacturing close-out date in October. Based on these projections we anticipate there will be XXX '23 orders that will go unfilled. For those of you whose order is not filled but you are still wanting a Maverick, it is imperative that you (do what?) when '24 order banks open in July. We will/will not be rolling over unfilled '23 orders to MY '24. We will/will not be offering pricing incentives to those loyal customers that take '24's in lieu of your ordered '23's.

Got it this morning. At this point I have resolved myself to the likelihood that I may never get my order filled. A notification that I have a VIN number would be more shocking than the so sorry notifications.

My first post after lurking here for about 7 months. Got my 45 day update on May 11. It also was about 2 weeks late. I wanted my first post to be about how excited I was to get the production notice, but oh well...
