Truck is built! Says late October/early November for delivery. Later than I had hoped, we wanted to hit a drag strip with it to get some baseline numbers before we start building performance parts for it. Might have to take a drive somewhere warmer to get baseline performance numbers.

Geeked to get started on this!

Dave,
I’m curious what your build week was stated as? Mine is scheduled for Oct 4th, and am expecting I’ll be able to pick it up the first or second weekend in November.
Also, why did you go fx4 package? Are you planning on off-roading it? I assumed it would be more of a track beast lol!

My build date was scheduled for 9-23 but it didn't get built until 9-27. I got confirmation the truck has been shipped as of this morning so it's on it's way. Definitely building the truck for an overlanding vehicle, so more focused on offroad but also want to get the performance up, I'd like to see it run some mid 13's in the 1/4 mile.

Edit: So Build time was 2 to 4 days, and 4th day for moving to shipping lot.

I don't remember to be honest. I'd say it's been on order a couple of months, if I had to guess I ordered in June sometime.

They originally gave me a build date of Sept 23rd and I never heard anything. The 27th they sent me a notification my truck was built and awaiting shipment. Today I got an notice saying it's been shipped and to expect it Nov 4th, which is ridiculous, I bet it's here in a week or two most.

Sweet I miss my 99/GSX- This truck really could use a factory boost gauge, larger exhaust and what not -

Nice, I'm actually looking at a storage building full of 2g's right now and trying to figure out how many I want. haha

The truck will get full exhaust, intercooler, intercooler pipes, air intake and hopefully tuning via Cobb Accessport as soon as they can get it released. Also going to offer an overlanding rack, lift kits etc.

Another person on this site familiar with train scheduling suggested that the finished vehicles in Mexico are staged in a lot as to destination and loaded on train car carriers until a full train is ready to head north. At switching yards (probably New Mexico or Texas) each train car is switched to a destination track...used to develop software for such.

Ford's Hermosillo plants website says Ford will product 100,000 units per year...hopefully when they get supplies and assembly line kinks worked out daily production numbers will be reported.

Shipping normally takes 4-6 weeks. My friend ordered a Ford Bronco Sport from the same factory as the Maverick and it took 5.5 weeks to arrive (I live in South Dakota BTW).

That's crazy to me, they must only drive 150 miles day!

I guess I didn't consider that! I was thinking a truck load going to the same basic location.

A 100,000 trucks per year is a market for parts we haven't seen since the 1990's, I freaking can't wait!
