My 2023 hybrid Lariat finally arrived. So far, I am loving it, but it has only been mine for one day. It drives like a dream (compared to the 2013 Ford F-150 that it replaced) and I am getting adjusted to the hybrid and getting 3x the gas mileage compared to the F-150.
I have to say that the wait was excruciating, but the actual process was better than I expected. I put the order in on the first day the order line was open, and the dates promised in the tracker were pretty much accurate (except for the time it spent in Chicago Heights waiting for transport to the dealership).
A huge shout out to Andy Mohr Ford in Plainfield, IN for making this happen. I would have been much happier if the trade in process had been more profitable for me, but at least I don't have to bother with the hassle of a private sale.
