OR (and this might sound crazy to you) consider DRIVING your truck! LOL

But seriously, I'm having a ball driving mine around, and keep coming up with excuses to go for a drive. The one down-side of being retired is having to come up with "reasons" to go somewhere... (Definitely first-world problem!)
That's crazy talk. Driving is boring, annoying and dangerous. Not nearly as much fun as planning mods.

What’s the point of having a vehicle if you’re not going to drive it? I love going places, the drive is half the fun. Last two summers I’ve driven to California and back. 5700 miles in 2021 and 4900 miles in 2022, plus a 1700 mile trip to Florida in 2022 just 2 weeks before the California trip.

Pretty sure he was joking... We're just ragging on each other.

Put the hard trifold 2.0 Solid Extang Tonneau cover that ordered in Jan 2022, quickly followed by the mudflaps, and having it treated with NH Oil. Then used Ford points for the all weather mats. Next swapped out the 18"" rims with 17" winter ice Blizzack light duty, WS-90, tires. Finally the Motorola Ma1 wireless. Did get the bed extender for $295 and will install it soon. The plan is to put down a tarp and give the Nursery some extra room for dropping top soil with their 5 foot bucket.

Don’t have mine yet.. but I can promise you the first thing I’m doing is taking off the dealers sticker on my brand new baby. 🤓🤓
Put in a cargo net in the bed. Have perfect one from mercedes. If it-fits right I’ll post a PN.

Ceramic coating, window tint, new wheels and tires, floor mats, last fit switchbacks & color match the grille bar.
Edit, I forgot tailgate letters.

Yeah, I can tell you don't deal with east coast city traffic. Did I mention it's time to refresh the ceramic coating and finally get around to adding LED backup lights?

I try to avoid big cities, I do a lot of back roads so I can see the country. Interstate are an occasional use as all you’re going to see on interstate is truck stops and city slums. Left off one thing you also see a lot of farmland.

Window tint, it’s a necessity here in Florida. Then I did a lift kit and KO2’s because why not

I don’t remember what exactly came first, but LasFit LED bulbs in the rear and a Homelink mirror are my two fav mods. Then reflective tailgate letters, the bug/rock deflector on the hood, and the center counsel organizer are next. The tri-fold Tonneau cover is nice but expensive and not actually necessary.

Just brought in home on Friday...

First thing I did was remove the dealership decal and plate frame.

Second thing I did was order LasFit reverse LEDs, LED cargo light bulbs and Husky front and rear floor liners.

I'm thinking about stopping by my local TSC today and grabbing the $50 4x6 stall mat to use as a bed mat. I've got some large chunks of tree to haul to the dump.
