I just set it up today, first time setting up a tent so the fitment on my end isn't perfect but it so far it looks great! The straps at the back of the tent (on the roof) run into the engine bay and are secured to the hood hinges (you can close it after). I left the trifold on and it does fit with it, the good thing is if you can deal with sleeping it hanging over you, you have a nice little shelf.

Thanks for the pics. I'm really liking it. Looks like it will definitely keep the bed dry if it rains. I also like that it has no flooring, more roomy and no need to empty the bed to set up.

Can't quite tell, is the tailgate deployed in the angled up position, as in for hauling 4'x8' sheets, or just fully flat?

Was hopeful it was taller. Wanted to place a small window A/C off to the left side of the antenna on roof of truck., and use the extra overhanging fabric to seal it off in dry hot weather. Still looks like it could be tilted up slightly in the front to gain some extra height there to pull off the tent AC idea. Already got a pure sine inverter for the 470w steady running wattage.

Looks like a couple of suction cup hooks stuck to the windshield would make for an easier attachment

Thanks @jalvay especially for the closeups and interior photos. So it doesn't have a floor? I was wondering about that.

It does not have one unfortunately, I was under the impression that it did so that the tent would be sealed. There are some small gaps between the tent and the body that I'll try to get some pictures of next time I set it up they are pretty small, and might vary on how you install the tent. Hopefully no critters find their way inside!

My tent just arrived. I test fitted it and the mattress. I like that it doesn't have a floor. But I wish it had windows. Aside from that I think it's a great value. It'll give us a chance to try out camping before spending for a more elaborate set up.

Hi Rick. Thanks for taking and sharing those pics! Looks great. I am interested in one of these tents. If you don't mind answering, I had a few questions? 1. How many straps are there that rub along the body/paint of the truck? 2. After initial setup, what would be your guess to how long it would take on average to install? 3. How is the quality of the material? Do you think if rained on, it would keep it out through the edges and seems? Thanks ahead of time. Sincerely Paul

If it's me that you're referring to, my name is Wil. Rick is the Maverick🙂

I hope this helps.
1. One on each side and two up top. They touch the paint, but I don't think that they'll rub.
2. Average without rushing 15-20 minutes.
3. I'm not familiar with tents. Material seems good to me.
4. I think this will be great in the rain. The tent just drapes over the truck. I see no way any water can get in.

I wish it had windows.

Does it bug you having no windows?

Not really. I didn't realize that I had already mentioned it. haven't gone camping with it yet, so we'll see. I'm just mentioning the only thing that I could come up that could have made it ideal for me.
