Thanks, looks good - I have an older one I'm using with aftermarket radio in my current vehicle and was looking to get a more modern and stable one for the Mav when it arrives.

Related subject: does anyone have ant feedback or comparison to performance on a wireless adapter being plugged into the USB-A vs USB-C ports in the Mav?

Thanks. I’m looking at something similar but I need one that can handle both iPhone and Android since we are a house divided except when it comes to using my 23 Maverick hybrid Lariat luxury truck. Got it it a couple of weeks ago and still trying to figure things out with Sync 3 applink, navigation and CarPlay and Android Auto. Latest issue is trying to use Sync 3 navigation and at the same time letting a passenger that has already synced their phone, to plug in and charge and use their phone, without over riding the Sync navigation

My plan is a low profile 12V lighter adapter in the dash near USBs with two USB ports for others to charge devices, rather than risk the syncing issues with someone plugging into the infotainment-connected ports.

Stupid question but will this work without enabling Siri. I really only want the map on the screen don’t care for anything else and it won’t let me unless I turn Siri on again I don’t want to turn that feature on.

Not a stupid question I don't want to enable Siri myself. But sadly, no, it will not work without Siri. At least from my experience.

does that come with all the wires and connections needed in box or would i need something else as well? I really am considering this cause i loathe having to plug in my phone, WHY is this carpl;ay not wireless???

All that is needed is the USB cable. Yes, it comes with that.

I se a CarABC version "5.0" now on Amazon, while the 4.0 dropped by a few bucks. Any ideas what the differences may be?
