I have used both the usb and mini usb port and have had issues with both. I have used various usb cords as well as a jump drive and have had the same issue with both. is there a know error for early builds with usb issues? My dealer could not ID the issue or reproduce the error. I do not want to have to drive around recording my audio waiting for it to happen to show them the issue. Anyone have any experience with this or could point me in the right direction?

Yeah my pops quite a bit and then pauses during music playback. I have issues with the phone connecting and trying to get it recognizing my voice to place a call hands free. I have to grab my phone and get it close to me for it to work.!!

I have tried multiple cords that i know work in other vehicles.

What kind of phone?
Does the phone position/location seem to impact performance?
Have you also gotten all the Sync software updates?
And does it act the same no matter which USB port you use (i.e. center dash port or on the ports on the back of the center console closer to the back seat?)

The rear console ports are power only.

Android but, does not matter, happens with phone or USB stick loaded with songs, not device related.

Does the phone position/location seem to impact performance?
No, I have plugged devices into the USB slot as well as the mini USB slot, I have wiggled them around to try to recreate the issue with no luck, the issue my guess is with the wiring behind the scenes

Have you also gotten all the Sync software updates?
Yes

Back has no data so not relevant

I wasn't thinking I guess :)

But on this kind of issue, it sounds like there's interference or a bad connection somewhere along the wiring harness.

If you feel like digging around a little and have a Mini-USB (not Micro or USB-C) to USB-A female cord you could pull the dash face off and connect directly to the ACIM. That would allow ruling in/out if its the media cable that connects the ACIM to the ports above the console.

Also happened to my Mav. Twice has this happened, I start hearing "clicks" while on Bluetooth. Radio worked fine, but when I switched back to Bluetooth, clicked again. Very annoying.

Hey there. I can look into your Maverick’s Bluetooth concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?
