DAMN!!! I live just about 30 minutes from there, but am getting back from a Caribbean cruise on the 3rd.... This would have been awesome to see all the beautiful Mavericks in Carlisle!!! But am definitely going to try to visit (if I'm not dead tired from traveling) on the 4th!

Lancaster, yeah, that’s close — What port are you cruising from?

Hope to see you Saturday night or Sunday morning at the show. (Sunday it runs 7am-noon.)

Booked my hotel. Will register in a week or two, just incase, since it isn’t refundable. I did pick the 2nd choice on this thread’s poll.

Been many years since I went to Ford Carlisle, looking forward to this. Will be cool to be on the field.

Great, Mark! Thanks for letting us know. We’ll (tentatively) count you in.

First post, and no Maverick, but I can answer any questions that you may have about the event. I go to Carlisle for the Ford Nats every year. Definitely a great time. Last year was their biggest show Carlisle has ever had--not just the biggest Ford show, but their biggest show period. IIRC, they had over 3500 registered vehicles.
I've been going every year since 2009, first with my Ranger, and since 2014, with my Focus ST. If you have the opportunity, just get signed-up for the Showfield and go. As many of you are starting to find out, motel rooms are hard to find this time of year; I book mine every year in November or December.
Feel free to reach out with any questions and I should be able to help.
This was my ST on the Showfield last year.

Thanks very much for the insight into the Carlisle experience, Mike!

Do stop by the Maverick Truck Club tent — we're going to be having a great time at our "hangout."

I am a veteran of Carlisle ... but at the Import show in May, which is a smaller event. Just got our Maverick last month, so we are first-time Ford owners, and first-time at Ford Nationals. I am prepared to be amazed by the number of cars, trucks, vendors and activities.

And for those looking for hotels, I mention again that it is no big deal if you have to stay half an hour away. It's an easy drive from anywhere on Interstate 81, either direction ... A lot of hotels in the greater Harrisburg area to the east, and you won't be paying "car show prices" for a room.

Also access to Carlisle off I-76, the Pennsylvania Turnpike — although fewer exits on the turnpike, naturally.)

Harrisburg is where I’m staying. Stayed there when I went to Ford Carlisle many years ago. It is an easy drive.

And back then there were a ton of vehicles. Can’t imagine how big it is now.
