The back story was the salesman Chris was very protective of local first guy who had a strong interest (me) so maverick was hiddened, keys where purposely under his lock and key. Because of a vin matching fluke the Maverick didn’t appear to others in the system.
He was very crafty ( sure others would use a less positive term ) but I did have it locked up definitely under half hour from OPs post.

I can attest to that I talked to the salesman right after TexTX and he told me TedTX had it already. Now if we could just get some more quality salespeople and dealerships like that.

It looks twice as good in person. That red is so deeply saturated. Definitely a stronger paint job than my velocity blue. The overspray in the hidden areas is an interesting rose over gray primer that looks rather nice. Different then the just dip it in blue like the 22 model year. Definitely an expensive paint.

Ok yet another pot-o-gold related, miracle on this Maverick stemming from the 300 bonus mailer. Well, financial official at dealership was unwilling to reopen a sign by both of us deal just a day before. Even though it offered zero protection to me walking away the night before. But, big but. It lead to me sharing a misgivings on just renewed year prepaid car washes on the old truck. On the back of the mailer was an added bonus of free car washes for a year. After repeatedly saying No doesn’t apply as I read of the back of the mailer 0.9 interest at 60m would have solved my concern. Nope doesn’t apply. Ok he said we will give you the free carwash deal again. But not changing Our deal.

So what happened at the carwash place is still pending but the free carwash is a ‘420’ value. And they are going to honor it. This situation just hasn’t come up before. They roll over to the replacement truck if a trade-in was under active prepaid plan.

They just called, and came up with solution upgraded to the highest level every thing all the common services available every time. And extend plan for the next 15 months.
