So the $750 student discount and $500 farm bureau offers I applied for in early 2022 both have an end date of 1/3/23. Unfortunately, I am no longer a student and I'm hesitant to pay for another year of farm bureau.

Seeing as I'm a 2022 rollover, do I need to be concerned about renewing? Per the terms, I have to take retail delivery by 1/3/23 so does that mean the offer code I was given is no longer valid after that date?

@fordvideoguy Apologies for calling you out here but you are just so great at helping with Vincent-related things such as this. Any direction here is much appreciated.

I'm unsure if this offer goes away wholly even though you did order when it was valid. I would hope it's locked in like the APR. If it helps any on the student discount though, I also was no longer a student when I took delivery of my truck, but it was still honored because I had graduated within the last two years (May, 2021 to be exact). So if I'm not mistaken, you'd still be eligible if your graduation was within the last two years (given that the rebate is protected for you).

I ordered a 2023 Maverick 9/17/2022, (since cancelled because I was able to obtain a 2022 that someone walked away from).

You can take this for what it’s worth as the info is from a salesman on 9/17/2022:

”Good you brought the FB coupon with you. I don’t know why Ford includes Mavericks with this offer because they can’t make them fast enough. Presenting the coupon at time of order will protect you in case Ford changes terms for next year’s FB coupon. By the way, you have to be a current FB member when the truck’s delivered. Since it will most likely be after 1/3/2023, you’ll need to renew your yearly membership because yours ends 1/23/2023”

Your FB membership should be good for a year from your enrollment date. When did you join?

The way I understand it if you had 2022 Farm Bureau Membership and your dealer uses the protect date for incentives you should receive the Farm Bureau rebate. I believe student rebate works the same.

The way the "Locked-In" incentives work is what was available when you ordered is locked in so you receive them when it arrives.

Thank you

Both were still valid at the time of re-order in September so it makes sense that using the Protect Date would be the right approach here. Just a little concerning the terms and conditions specifically mention taking delivery before 1/3.

That's a good point too I think as I joined the same day as my original order (1/27/22). I'm looking at the Ford T&C, but I should be able to re-apply for the Farm Bureau credit after 1/3 and get a new authorization code.

Unfortunately for me, I was last a student in 2020 so I'm not able to apply for that again, although my wife is a student. Not sure if that would work. I know there has been some difficulty stacking these two anyway so I may just lose out on $250 ($750-$500). Not terrible.

That’s exactly where I was going! 😁 So, tomorrow or the next day, generate another code for this year and you should be covered either way

@unclerunkle So I applied at the website and got the code. The web page & email Ford gave me said expires Jan 2024.

I am confused about everyone here saying it expires in 23?
I believe only one person said that and they were wrong. Hence why so many saying otherwise.
