So I sit down after a busy Saturday afternoon with a cold beer and a book to relax. Figure I'll check the Ford tracker for any updates.

Holy cow, it's in final prep! I call the salesman to see if they can get it done today. I'm supposed to be gone most of the day Monday and really don't want it sitting on the lot.

No go for today, they can't finish the inspections and such. Financing is done, down payment on hand, final sales price agreed and signed. Just need to walk it, drive it, and sign for it. My boss agreed to let me cut out early Monday from a meeting to get back. Appointment at 7 to pick up my Alto Blue FX4, 4k Lariat baby.

Next 2 day will be tough.

Two days isn't bad. I had to wait 6 days, during a last ditch attempt to get more for my trade in than the dealer was offering. That failed and had to go with them.

Make sure you get what you ordered. A lot of buyers are having problems with the vehicle matching or and the sticker.
Do your inspection check before leaving with it.
