Totally agree. I had my Bison delivered to my door here in Nova Scotia., $800 tax and shipping included.
i was at ford the other day and asked about covers. ya cost to high. But asked about soft vs hard tri fold and the guy said he likes soft better as the hard ones there is a layer in-between the 2 plates and those layers can get water logged over time. I assume he is talking about the ford owm ones. but hey wonder about the bison ones. or if this really happens.

also if i got hard i Am liking those bison ones and its canadian.

I had the Ford soft covered tonneau before I got my Bison hard cover. Much prefer the hard cover.
Also had a hard cover on my Ridgeline for years, never noticed any problems with it.
Goodluck with whatever you choose.

Yeah not noticing any issues with my hard cover (same OEM as the Ford cover), and I live on the wet coast in BC.

Auto EQ is where i purchased my Bak Revolver X4s and The Truck Parts Superstore For my bed mat. Both Canadian outfits. Now I just need my truck. Lol.

Can’t say I can recommend Truck Parts Superstore after dealing with them on my Bedrug purchase. After not hearing anything for more than a week after purchase and credit card invoiced I contacted then for status. After a few days they got back and said it would be 8 weeks before Bedrug could delivery to them. As I’m going to be away for 3 months soon I asked them to cancel the order as no one will be here for it. They were ok with that but charged me a 25% restocking fee for something they never had in stock. They never noted on their website that it was not in stock or was a back order item. Had to swallow that bitter pill. Will never purchase from them again and let them know.

Hi, everyone. I have a Bison Cover, which seems fine although I haven't really tested it in weather yet. But I'm really missing a truck cap like the one I had on my Tacoma. The one or two I've found are a crazy price (around $5000), at least it seems so to me. Has anyone come across some cheaper alternatives? Thanks.

Hey, Bison owner as well....cant say enough about this product! Withstood 2 feet of snow without warping or breaking and hasnt frozen up during our special canadian winters. I only suggest to get some silicone spray and hit the rubbers that touch the tailgate....since i did that, been perfect! Very little leakage too, and could be even less with a bit of weatherstripping.

Depending on where you live, you can get the Bison installed at the warehouse (Ajax) for free....all in all an awesome product.

I'm going to get a Bison tonneau as soon as my truck lands too. How was it for shipping, do they pack it fairly good against damage?

Yes, it was packed securely, and arrived in a short time. I think it was shipped by courier the day after I ordered. It arrived in Lethbridge in pristine condition.

Thanks guys! Def. gonna give it a try, my last tonneau was an Undercover in 2015. This looks very similar - only way less $$ and nice to support a Canadian Co.

That was my thinking as well. If you have any questions, give them a call. They were very accommodating.

You are more patient than I am. I ordered my Bison cover in November, knowing that I probably wouldn't get the truck until January :)

It's not patience, it's fear. I had to reorder in Sept. after my April '22 order didn't get scheduled. Then in Nov. a dealer mix-up made it look for a bit like I wasn't even ordered. Slight panic to say the least.

So I ain't buying nuthin' until I see it in the lot with my own eyes, lol.

I didn't buy anything until I got mine either. I mean what you if you buy a bunch of stuff and hate the truck when it comes? Then you have a bunch of stuff you cannot use.
