How Accurate are the Estimated Delivery Dates?

Typically NOT very accurate at all and subject to variables like weather and lack of transport trucks. Do not tie any other decisions in your life to arrival of the Maverick as you will very likely be disappointed as you have no control over this process at all and information will be sketchy and contradictory at times.

Mine initially said 11/17, then it changed to 12/17. Ended up getting there on 11/17

My delivery date is 2/2 to 2/15. My dealership received an shipment yesterday and mine wasn’t on the truck. He told me that in order for the truck to deliver to them it must have a minimum amount of vehicles. It’s a small town dealership and he said his delivery number is a minimum of three.

Come on how accurate do you want them to be they have only done this for over 100 years and only charging $1500. I mean really Amazon wasn't thought of until 70 years latter but they can tell you with in minutes several days in advance and their shipping is free. Welcome to the Maverick club.

Absolutely, do NOT sell your vehicle until you are sure you have your truck. It could be very uncomfortable to get stuck with a surprise ADM or something goes bad with the deal. Too risky, unless you have alternate transportation.

Definitely wait to sell. Your truck will likely be part of several different trains while moving from Mexico to Michigan, and then have to sit in a lot at the final ramp until there are enough vehicles going to your dealer to make up a truckload. That's a lot of variables Ford and your dealer have little control over. The delivery estimate is based on experience, but stuff happens.

Hi, good conversation topic. On a tangent, I am intrigued by both the late (Nov) order date and getting a hybrid from order to production in only 2 months(-ish). Hard to say if you’ve used up all your luck already or if you also need to buy a lottery ticket! I hope your delivery is a speedy one!

My initial order was on 11/11/2021. I think the 2022 date is when they changed it to a 23.

My estimated dates were February 6-12. The truck made it to the dealer on January 30. They were backed up on prep, so I picked it up on February 3. I sold my old F-150 about two weeks earlier, but I had a second vehicle to drive.

Seems like maybe if it's associated with a Maverick it runs late. Floor mats from Amazon. Supposed to be here 2/2. Guess Amazon doesn't have it all worked out either...

Amazon doesn't send across several rail lines, and then arrange for trucking. Ford has no control over these companies.
