Amber Daytime Running Lights?

I wonder if some amber tape might improve the Maverick's DRLs.

Makes it look more like a fleet vehicle and less like a personal vehicle to me - the 77' benefits from having the side marker lights to complement the front ambers... Reminds me of my days owning an E39 BMW where people on the forum would bake their headlights in an oven to open them up and remove the amber pieces

I do think the maverick would look better with blacked out inside of headlight, a cleaner look too

for me the front "face" of the Mav is the least attractive part of the design. I'm going with XL, but hope the grill is interchangeable with XLT. The big chrome/glass "C" shaped headlight surrounds I don't get it- but will have to live with it until something aftermarket comes out. At least I don't have to look at that mug when driving it!

LMAO Just make sure you don't look at the truck's reflection in windows when you pull up to a curb.

At least the various led designs in newer vehicles don’t look like someone left their headlights on

From what I can gather, on the XL and XLT trim, the DRL are the inner yellow indicator lights, much like a Tacoma. The upper LED strip is Lariet package only

I hope you’re right. I’ve always liked the look of the amber “parking” lights on without the headlights. None of my vehicles had drl’s and I’ve run those since I was in high school a looonngg time ago

If this is the case I may install switchback led turn signals for some normal looking DRL

Was thinking the same thing. Put switchbacks in my mustang so lights on, its all white on the front when you aren't signaling. Good stuff!
