It was on the list to choose from
Ooooh! :devilish: If only we got the performance upgrades to go with it. Hell, a ST emblem on Amazon is probably good for 5 HP...

I don’t have the part numbers for the badges as I ordered them via the part counter at my dealer
The rear badge is super easy to remove
Front one I ended up just masking off the front
My guess is you would have to remove the grill bar and pry the badge off since the replacement has a full pad of adhesive on the back
@volksnuts I've looked around a bit without much success but how do you remove the rear Ford emblem on the tailgate? Thanks

Remove the plate on the backside of the tailgate to access the nuts
It’s super easy

Borrowed a tall enough ladder
If I was able to wait until the weekend I could have gotten my son to help with his F150
But I have a bed (for now)

Decided to finally pick the sub setup I’ll go with
Being a Lariat there is too much going on behind the seat on the back wall to cut a vent for bed mounted subs (well technically I could cut a hole where the middle seat belt was but it being off center would probably just annoy me)

So I started looking seriously about the spot under the seats
Pulled the plastic pieces to see what I was actually working with
Kind of surprised how big that area is

so these are pics people have posted before but hard to tell sizing without reference
Figure I can get close to 1.25 cu ft enclosures on each side with a common baffle
Will have to learn fiberglass, which I need to do for the fender vents anyways

it’s dark outside, lol

Tomorrow I’m going to talk to my stereo shop to try to make some decisions
I’m thinking I could make two 12’s work
Might have to go with the square Kicker L7s
Might be able to use round ones (JL Audio TW3 or similar)
I know I like the sound of the JL’s, been a while since I heard Kickers, but those were the go to subs back in the day

Once that’s settled then I’ll worry about what to do about signal

Yeah buddy! I LOVE my JL TW3's but I didn't think I could get enough air for them without more modifcation to my Maverick than I wanted to do right now. A single 10" is going to have to do it for me. (Wife hates bass anyway, LOL.)

Looking forward to this!

Just got home from my trusted local car audio shop (known them 30+ years!)
Confirmed 12’s will fit under the rear seat
Going with 2 Kicker 41L7124’s each in an approx 1 cu ft box
Going to have to up my amp power as my JL Audio amp isn’t going to have enough power to run these…. Lol
They are suggesting Rockford Fosgate T2500-1bd (2500 watts!)
Not sure I’ve got space for that amp so we will revisit once I get the box done

As far as signal I forget the brand but they have an adapter to output rcas before the amp so I can run whatever configuration I want which will include basically not using the B&O amp at all

Very tempted to use this art series amp for the front stage

Love my old PPI amps! It's going to be killer with two 12's.
It’s def going to be loud
Need to get a bunch of dynamat (or similar) to keep everything from rattling
Got some hushmat left over from the F150 but def going to need more
