Tremor Front bumper swap out with 2022 FX4 front bumper?

Anyone know if there is a possibility of swaping an FX4 bumper out with the new Tremor front bumper? Would love that upgraded approach angle.

Think this was discussed and was a no go. Tremor has revised radiator and/or supports in order to make the bumper work and thus it’s not a direct fit for an FX4. Don’t remember the specifics from awhile ago but it was something to that effect.

With the exception of the bottom brush guard cover panel, the switch was rather simple. so that the cover panel may be screwed onto it from farther away. They just used a section of the removed bumper as a bridge. I like it in most respects.

@Justin.23 , can that lower section be swapped without removing the entire bumper cover?

Thank you sir. I've got a non-FX4 inbound, that I want to add the recovery hooks to, so swapping the "base" for the FX4 version, not the Tremor. Still wondering how to add a rear-most support for the factory tow hooks, so they could be functional, not just cosmetic. There are some ideas provided by the flat-tow baseplates that could possibly be utilized.

Just curious how structural are the mounts for that plastic? Kinda makes me wonder if it would ever be worth it to fab a metal version. That way it could integrate with the tow hooks and the skid plate. Just dreaming for the day my warranty expires.

yes i thought it had to do with the 4k tow package specifically because the rad comes close to the ground

maybe so, like i said i think its the 4k tow package that is not compatible

Do you mind giving a little more info, like how hard was the swap? Did it take much modification?

Also, do you still have a P/N and what did you pay?
