I tried searching for this and couldn’t find it, but does anyone have experience combining one of the below offers with X-plan pricing? I know the farm bureau one cannot be combined, but what about the others?

  • $750 college graduate + X-Plan (???)
  • $500 farm bureau + X-Plan (this doesn’t work)
  • $750 Quarterly private offers that are in your name sent via email/mail + X-plan (I think this one works)

I am not a vet nor a first responder so not sure about those, but are any of the above possible? Anyone take delivery on a 2022 with the above?

Targeted PCOs - read the terms on that specific offer. Some of them exclude AZ-Plan but not X-Plan. Terms should be in the email/mailer if you receive one, or Ford/a dealer should be able to look them up for you.

thanks for posting these!

the “may not be used with other Ford or Lincoln private or commercial offers” verbiage of the student one kind of confused me, but maybe that refers to farm + student or private + student, not X-Plan + student.

Right, all of these really count as private offers, but that's different from X-Plan which is a supplier/partner pricing program. College student/grad, military, Farm Bureau, etc. are all "private offers" in that they're aimed at a specific audience and you need to apply for the certificate in order to redeem it. Those pretty much all state that they cannot be combined, meaning you can't for example use college student + Farm Bureau together on the same vehicle purchase. Makes sense - the idea is to target a group of buyers to get them to buy; there's no benefit to them to let you claim them for multiple groups on one purchase.

Not entirely sure the difference with commercial offers, but generally the normal rebates/incentives ("retail offers") you'll see in advertisements can be combined with the private offers, as well as AZXD-Plan. Looks like "commercial offer" means a different incentive from the retail ones that we individuals get, targeted at business/fleet customers.

For mine, ended with only Student rebate was taken. Not a big deal, X-plan itself worths of only $250.

very helpful, thank you! It’s about $900 off for xplan on my xlt tremor build. I’m also back in school and apparently verified for the college discount no problem so was curious. Guess we will see!

The x-plan is dealer’s choice. My dealer did not accept it.
Yep, dealers are allowed to decide if they accept X-Plan (or AZ for that matter) at all. They're also allowed to decide which vehicles they will sell under the program - during the mess that is the last couple years, some will only accept it on an order, not a vehicle you bought off the lot.

Apparently some dealers will also pick and choose who they will sell to under those programs (even if they're not supposedly allowed to go that far).

Dealers have full control over offering to sell under Fords "Plans". A, D, X are all plans where there is a set price to customer. Ford reimburses the Dealer a fixed amount for selling at these fixed prices. At one time X-plan was a good deal. But in the past couple decades it was often common to find the same vehicle available at lower than X-plan pricing. Not positive about now, but X-plan used to be just a little over Dealer invoice pricing. A and D are good deals, but you must either be a Ford employee or a Dealer employee to qualify.
Dealers that have high value vehicles like Mavericks, and certain others would lose a good bit of money offering them at these "plan" prices.

I was able to see the price with the x-plan and it amounted to $190 discount. Which, wasn’t much but would have been about half the cost of the DIBL. Anyway, after calling corporate, they said they reimburse the dealer for the discount. The dealer said they loose that money. Anyway, I gave up. Even though someone is not telling the whole truth.

The dealer receives a commission for selling under AXZD-Plan, they just make more money selling at MSRP or MSRP+ADM.

Your dealer was lying.

the discount also is dependent on what you order. It’s about $900 off an xlt tremor plus $750 for student looking at $1650 whichis worth the time

I figured the dealer was the culprit. My $190 was for the xl hyb with hitch and cp360 so lower discount. They also said they were only making $400 on each truck. Which I stated how did Granger offer $3000 off MSRP. CRICKETS!

Sometimes they lie out of laziness. For example I was told it was impossible to change to a tremor because they were all sold out… I sent the memo to them then somehow they changed it with no problem lol

apologize to OP if too far off topic...

Has anyone seen the FB program renewal past 1/3/2023? I had to renew my calendar year membership (never expected that it would take 1 year +) but so far I haven't seen a 2023 program with Ford.
