Where to Get a Key Fob Skin?

Lol I surely did not keep a spotless room, however I drop my keys pretty regularly. There is like a plastic trim on the XL- XLT key fobs that I managed to damage pretty good. Never gave it a second though on dropping my Toyota Keys, but with the price of Key Fobs I certainly think a few bucks to protect it is worthwhile.

I hope it's going to fit. I had troubles with one that was fat around the front of the key. It would not let the key go in all the way because of the rubber ring around the lock cylinder. The only ones I found that worked are the chrome looking moulded plastic fob covers.

Oh it will fit the key no problem. What is the problem is the lock cylinder shoved way back in the colum with a rubber ring around it. A fat key cover will not fit into the rubber ring. If you can shove and force it in far enough to actually turn the key to start it, you will have to manually turn the key back to the run position to disengage the starter. I know what I'm talking about. I just been through this. The only thing that fits with this ignition switch is the really thin plastic covers. Good luck. This cover will likely not work as shown. The stitching will make it too thick.

Let us know how it works out for you. That's a bit of money to throw at Etsy for one if it doesnt work. I looked at them too. I opted for this after my thick aluminum one did not fit.

I’ll keep you posted, a few other maverick owners left reviews and all were good so far no issues.

Also my key is different than yours. Idk if that will matter.

If yours is a transponder key with a pushbutton start you will be fine. If it's a switchblade key, then it's not going to work.

No I have the switchblade key, might be your maverick only no one else is having that issue.
