Just returned from a trip to Big Bend with the Maverick. In Big Bend there are various Off Road roads for over the top adventurers, and one of those roads was called “Old Maverick Road”, a 15 mile stretch of washouts and big rocks so of course I had to take the Maverick on there. AWD was not recommended for the road and they specifically said you should have a true 4WD vehicle, but the AWD ecoboost mavvy did just fine no issues. Truck ran great tackled everything I put in front of it. Took lots of good pictures.

For my 5500 mile review, truck has been great to me I have no serious complaints. Has done everything I’ve needed it to do, love the tie down hooks in the bed.

The tire and wheel set up has been great lost a lil bit of MPG but I think it’s worth it for the look.

Now that it’s cold the turbo whistle is noticeably louder so that’s pretty awesome love that.

Only real cons I have about the truck are the clickity clackity engine noise, I’ve always driven vehicles with loud exhausts so if y’all have any good recommendations for an exhaust setup pls comment them below. Only other con I really have is the gas gauge is sometimes glitchy. On a good day it tells me I have 360 miles til empty on a full tank, but I’ve had it as low as 300 and 268 miles til empty right after filling my tank.

But overall, love the Maverick, highly recommend it. Enjoy the pics.

was expecting to see a Mav vs a Bronco Sport Big Bend comparison. Have both ordered so naturally was curious...

Glad to see the AWD is an off road beast.
Lol I completely forgot there was a Big Bend Bronco sorry for the confusion lol

lol...Old Maverick Road looks to be in better shape than most of the township roads down here in SE Ohio.

Great pix, thanks for sharing, looks like it was a fun trip.

What size are your tires and rims? They look very bulky and oversized from what the Maverick comes with. That can definitely affect gas mileage.

Your running BFG-KO2s. If you kept to the 17" wheel I would guess your running a 245/65/17??? Just guessing, let us know the setup looks great

There is a great author from West Texas named Patrick Dearen. Two of my favorites are Dead Mans Boot and Apache Lament.
