I'm pretty sure they're the same wheels as I believe the First Edition Hybrid Maverick which actually had a machine face look to them with gloss black paint:

So BAP uses the wheels above but there is no machined face visible (Despite them referring to them as machined face) since the whole wheel is painted flat black.

According the the specs, they ARE machined faced wheels and the machined part is painted matte black. That's why Aznmav's post didn't make sense.

Looks nice. Eventually I'd like to get the smoked housings for mine when they become readily available.

No offense but precisely what part of the specs has been accurate regarding the BAP? Look at this photo, looks all flat black to me, not just the machined face parts.

It is all matte black...Where's the confusion? Poster said 'would have like machined faced wheels in black'... Well, they are! Then he followed with 'Don't really like the matte black wheels'. First he's saying he wished the wheels were black, then he's saying he doesn't like the black... Don't you see the contradiction?

Here's a side by side comparison of XLT with and without BAP... Makes it easier to see the differences. I agree the BAP cost isn't justified overall, but it's definitely better with than without. The biggest thing that kills me is the center console being two different colors... That's so ugly.

Sorry what I meant was I did not like the matte black painted over the machine faced wheels. I preferred the machine face wheels that are on the standard Lariat without the matte black paint.

No because poster is saying they would have liked to have actually had a machined face on the wheels......I'm not confused here

I kind of assumed you meant something that was just worded a little off... But the other guy didn't understand that. Maybe you can machine the paint back off? Personally I don't care for the silver look.

20k to get the right colors LMAO
My best friend has a Ridgeline, he didn't pay 46k (under 40) for his but I will say, it's better than my Maverick in just about every way. Rides better, more comfortable inside especially for me at 6' tall, more room in the bed, much better interior materials, quieter, more creature comforts standard, tows more, better payload. I could keep going on. I'm pretty frugal and happy with my choice but there's a reason it's a much more expensive option than the Maverick, they're not even in the same class and there is no competition.

Finding it pretty difficult to understand your points then......because I understood the machine face guy exactly when you didn't. What's the common denominator here?

You do understand that machine face is the type of wheel, not the color right? It doesn't matter if you painted it bright pink, it's still machine-faced.
