Bought a XL and I think I'm feeling bad about it.

You got a turbo truck pretty sweet. At least you have something to have feelings about. Still waiting on mine. I've complimented plenty of XLs I see in parking lots that people think I'm a little crazy.

I splurged and bought a set of stainless steel trim rings for my EB AWD XL's steel wheels. I added a soft folding tonneau cover, 2 bed cubbies, Line-X liner, hitch step, and floor mats and any trim level I bought would have had those. I've also splurged on the switches to add cruise control and parts to add keyless lock to tailgate and one of these days I might get around to installing those parts.
To me, a truck is a tool which is why I also have a white XL F-250. I'm looking for the best overall value. I don't identify with my truck, so basic trim is fine by me.
send some pictures pls!

Worry not about such things. It is what it is. Other people’s opinions do not matter. But that is, of course, just my opinion. What did you pay for it? Be well!

That's not terrible. MSRP was $23.095 on mine. At 26k it's still the most economical, useful, new vehicle you could of bought. Even a new budget 4dr car or compact SUV cost the same or more.

It's a budget truck and you kept it that way, good on you. Now you don't have to feel as annoyed when you get that first rattle or scratch.

i ordered an XL to have a blank canvas. it is the first vehicle i have ever owned with an automatic transmission, so if that's someone's measurement of luxury i'm blessed.

Hi guys. There was some time I was after a Maverick but here in NJ there are no vehicles available and it seems there won't be for some time.

It happens I needed a (second) car out of the blue because my wife found another job which is further from home, which lead us to purchase another car.

So that was my clue to have my Maverick.

Drove one hour to PA to find a black XL Ecoboost FWD - which was everything they had - and I bought it. (eve though I had to pay an extra for it)

Now after driving and feeling it - I say I really enjoy driving the car it but I feel terrible bad about buying a trim-version so basic - kinda ashamed.

I look at that truck and think If I should try buying new wheels or something else to make it look nicer but I'm not sure about putting money on top of a XL.

What do you guys think?

Nice vehicle! I have a black xlt and my son has a white XL . My son added the carbon Grey xlt rims and it made the difference on his ! I have same rims on my black and I love em 👍

If your questioning it then you know you would be happier with another trim. I originally had an xl on order but changed it to an xlt because deep down I really wanted the xlt and I would be questioning it all the time if I ended up sticking with the xl. Keep your xl until you can order a xlt or what you really want. Either way you have a great truck!

Heated seats and steering wheel is sweet. I waited over a year for my Maverick and never dropped anything and got what I wanted. Did not want buyers remorse, love the truck, no regrets
So glad there are no regrets with your Maverick, Ed!

I would have bought XL if it had cruise control. I went with Area 51 specifically because I upgraded to an XLT and the interior was navy pier.
