Just received this depressing email about my 2023 Maverick order

I'd like them to give me a bit more. Something to estimate my final delivery time.
Is it really reasonable to expect Ford to send 80k or so individual emails to people with speculation on when their order may be built? What benefit is there to Ford to do this? Sounds like a freak out when people get it, a club if they don't meet it, and a time/money suck to even get to that point of sending that email.

Yeah, got the same email. Now they will tell me every 45 days that they can't build my truck which was ordered Oct 23rd, 2021. Even though, it appears new MY23 orders are getting production dates (for the same package as mine).

If Ford wants to move forward with people ordering their vehicles online, they have to figure out a better system. Maybe they could try something that must be new to them, it's called 'First In First Out'.

Their pick system (which appears to be a combination of mixing orders from dealers for their own stock, customer online orders and a priority system that is designed to favor large dealers) isn't working out.

I finally got the email last night. At least Ford has my email address correct still.

Also got the email last night, as others have mentioned it seems to just be a thing that Ford sends as a courtesy.

Called FMC customer support and they indicated that the email doesnt really mean one thing or another, and after checking the status of my vehicle, i do believe it them.

OP, if you find this depressing, you are going to need medication before this is all over. You should expect 4 or 5 more of these.

Interestingly, I did not get this one for my MY23 order (but have 8 from last year :-/ ). MY23 is Hybrid XL with hitch and nothing else. Even after having waited for over a year and being a Priority 10 on my MY23 order, figure that my chance of getting my Maverick to be less than 20%.
Now that is truly depressing....

I got that same email last night at Tuesday, Nov 1, 11:23 AM HST. Not the email i wanted, but at least i know i'm in their system.
2023 xlt hybrid, trailer hitch, 400w inverter, and floor liners ordered/confirmed 9/16.

I received the same email and I am still remaining optimistic Ford will come thru in the clutch.

WellI just found out today that the dealer never put my e mail on the order. Giving it to customer service will not put it on. I’m one of the trucks that is supposed to have a priority over new orders. I would like to say BS my build date is 9 Jan 23 priority 2.

I called the Ford 1-800 customer service just too make sure that they have my correct email and all the lady said was: "Yes" anything else? No? Please stay on the line and complete our customer satisfaction pole. Thank you!
"From 1 being unhappy - 5 Very satisfied" (Where is the zero option?)

From a 2022 XL hybrid with some options to a 2023 with no options and the only words: Sorry we can no longer make your 2022, you are now a 2023 order with no price protection as you never got a vin.
My dealer laughed at me when I asked if I was getting a personal rebate due too the carry over.

Dealer: "Get back into your dark closet and don't come back out until your Maverick arrives!"

I received the same canned email today. I'm a new 23 order, XL Hybrid w/ full spare, hitch, and 400w cab inverter. Been seeing more and more Mavericks in my parts the past few months. In it for the long haul, though if they know at any point they can't build all 23MY hybrids, I'd appreciate even a canned response and an option to keep my order and switch to Ecoboost.

Seems a bit much to nuke the CSR's rating because you are pissed at ford. They are just regular customer service people like anywhere else- no need to be a dick to them. And honestly, and I sincerely mean no ill will here (you don't seem like a bad person), but seeing what you post, and how you post it, I would guess that the most likely issue is an issue on your end with your email.
