Here is mine with the chrome 3D letters. Definitely adds a personalized touch to it

Being the highly skilled, mechanical guy that I am. Yes I know how to add blinker fluid and pack muffler bearings. I have began "customizing" my Maverick. Nothing real exciting here, but if you wonder how a couple items might look. Tailgate lettering and Sill Protectors both from Amazon. Before and after pics.

looks great. Q: did the dealer ask your permission to stick their badge on your truck?

i have tailgate letters to do this weekend, wondering if anyone used the wet method to do theirs? scares me thinking about spraying soapy water on the sticky stuff and then having the letters not stick?
The soapy water is intentionally to prevent it from sticking. This gives you time to adjust the positioning of the decal. This is how advert decals are applied to race cars and the such. It lets you slide it around until it is in the perfect spot then you can squeegee the water out or just let it dry there

OP, you let your dealer stick their advertising on your truck? I'd make them leave that off unless they're willing to pay for that advertising.

I imagine you mean the clippings and foliage on the floor mats. I’ve thought about instituting a footwear change policy when entering the vehicle.

One of those things that I’ve always accepted as normal since I’ve always had a used car. With that said, we are a small town and they were excellent throughout the whole process. Salesman’s wife is one of the teachers on my staff even. So I will advertise for them.

They did not, but I am ok with it. I see why some people wouldn’t be though.

do you recommend the natural blinker fluid or spend the extra for the synthetic brands?
