After seeing that some of you are scheduled already, I also did the Ford Chat thing. They told me I'm scheduled for the week of Nov. 28th. I figured a Tremor would be a longer wait so this is a happy surprise for me.

Talked to Ford Chat this morning, said my 23 Tremor (Lariat with Lux package) is scheduled for week of Dec 12. :) They also gave me the vin, which I didn’t think they did for Cdn customers.
Texted my salesman to confirm but haven’t heard back from him yet.
Maybe there is hope, I put in for a MY23 Tremor, lariat lux and have heard nothing so far

I suppose so, should’ve mentioned I did it yesterday. I’ve used it a few times, I like the easy accessibility but getting helpful answers has been hit and miss.

I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Ordered Nov. 2021 and got a VIN and build date for Sept 3/22 in late August. Was pushed back multiply times into November. Last week was still showing waiting for build date. Checked with Ford Chat (Can.) and the said it would be out of production (built) Nov. 7/22. Next day my sales guy called to confirm I was pushed to Dec. and have to come in for 2023 rollover. VIN search on Ford.ca has gone dark. Ford chat is out to lunch.

No offence to the folks getting build dates for non VIN rollovers and 2023 orders, but don’t hold your breath that those dates will hold.

Who did you order through:
Suburban Motors, or Glenoak Ford?

I ordered way back through Suburban and after my order they let go of two sales staff and the sales manager; absolute nightmare!
I should have canceled my original order and gone with Island Ford, but I did not want too give up my place in the queue. (What a queue!)

Ford really should just stop pushing the advertising so hard, at least until they get caught up. (I know that is just dreaming!)
Sorry for the 2024 orders and it is still 2022.

Ordered from Glen Oak Westshore, but all South Island Ford dealers are owned by the Carson Group. My dealer and sale rep have been pretty good. No complaints with them. Just the cluster that Ford has turned this into that’s killing me.
I ordered the hybrid so It could flat towed behind our motorhome and we are to be away in it for 4 months starting Mar. 1. 35ft Newmar Bay Star was ordered Oct 2021 and was built by end of June. Lots of constraints but they still managed to get in at 8 months. This is staring to look like 14-16 months at best.

Just left the dealer. No answers on delivery and they want $2450 to resign and rollover my order. Said they think Ford will give VIN rollovers credit but don’t know for sure. I told him I want more answers before I sign off. One positive note if I wanted I could upgrade to the Lariat as it now also comes as hybrid.
This is just a mess. When the price starts to rise to much you need to look at other option’s.

Can I give you some advise I wish I could give myself . Hang in there ,you are closer then a lot of us . The price increase is annoying but 2450 is at the low end .Mine is 3500 and some people and saying over 4000 . I honestly feel that within a few weeks we may have a clearer picture of what's going to happen . Best of luck and enjoy your travels .

The whole order procedure is really odd.

Some members paid a zero deposit and they have received their Mavericks already.
Then the rest of us paid anywhere from $400.00 - $4000.00 down and then came the roll over charge.
I was dinged $2500.00, along with dumping all of my options.

If my Maverick ever arrives and then I put back all of my missing options I will be well over $6000.00 from my original order.

So long as the final price does not go over $45,000.00 I am willing to pay that for a cheap hybrid. (Not a EB or a Lightning Maverick)

But what does that have to do with the deposit?
I fully understand that the deposit is a good faith payment to the dealer, that you intend to except your order when it arrives and the payment goes towards the purchase.
Also, the dealer gets to set the amount and it has nothing to do with Ford.
Yet my understanding from Ford was that they were "requesting" the dealers to only charge a five hundred dollar deposit.

This is why I said that it was odd that the dealer fees are all over the place.

Dealer fees and dealers over charging on the prices of lot stock for the desperate customers, or those unable to wait out this nightmare.

Those of us trying to wait for things to be sorted out with the manufacturering are watching time going by, prices going up, and trade in values going down.

I don't know why I am going to try to defend Ford ,given I am so pissed off at them . But I will give it a try . First -if we look at the exchange rate in June 2021 when ford set the price . And then compared it to today or four months form now , you would see a pretty good price increase . Second- 5 or 6 years from now when you go to trade it in, we will probably get are 2500 hundred back as opposed to trading in a 2022. Third - Ford is not controlling the interest rates ,Are Canadian Government is doing that. All of this is of no fault from us . If Ford had just built the trucks in a timely fashion then we nor them would be dealing with all this shit . Personally I feel if the assembly plant was in the USA or Canada they would not be having half the problems .
