So I my Maverick has arrived at a local dealership. I didn't place my order through them just rather paid them to do the prep, inspection etc... when it arrives, courtesy delivery. The purchase is being processed at an out of state dealer. Went to check out my truck and found they put their dealership sticker on my Maverick. I guess they need to mark my Maverick as if they owned it. I will definitely make them take it off when I pick up my Maverick hopefully next week.

I always make it clear my purchase isn't their advertising billboard and never had an issue.

You attribute too much conscious thought to this. The vehicle arrived, it was added to the queue for PDI/prep. They followed their standard process. Even if you asked them not to in advance, they might've still done it.

Mine was removed by the dealer before delivery after I mentioned this to the salesman. He also took back their plate frame without complaint while installing mine with the transferred plate (just a slim black border, no markings on it). Hopefully yours also gives you no hassle. The sooner it's removed, the easier it'll be and with less risk of damage to the paint.

Yep, me too. And I was clear, "No Stickers and please do not mount the front plate bracket". Got the same sticker you did...

Good to see your truck is in hand!!!

I always peel them off as soon as I get home. At least it's not the old emblems where they drill holes to put them in.
I'm not taking it off myself. They put that crap on and they need to peel it off themselves or pay me an advertising fee, $100/mile.

Hope you're enjoying your truck. I hope we will bump into each other one of these days.

Is your plan to do paint correction and ceramic yourself after you take possession?

Me? I'm not planning on keeping it. Flipping it and keeping my EB that is currently in production.

I have never allowed the dealer to put their sticker on our vehicles. When I bought my 1980 RX7 the dealer said "we need that sticker on your car to know the car came from this dealership, How will we know otherwise"? A veiled threat about warranty work if I ever heard one.

I told him the VIN will suffice and the sticker never got on the car.
