That is correct. When you find out 1/3 of your profit will be taken from you, it does make it less tempting.You're less tempted to sell for a huge profit because you'll have to pay taxes on it?
I sold my XL for $34,500. Even after taxes, fees, and everything I made about $8,200.
Also, as previously mentioned in this thread, I have a Lexus that I can also sell for good money. To the point where I drove it for 4 years for free. The Maverick also gets almost triple the gas mileage and has better utility. There was a reason I ordered this vehicle in the first place, and it actually wasn't to flip. So lots to consider.
