Coming in January, the front passenger seat is now optional
I like that idea! Now I would have a great reason to tell the wife to ride in the back with the kids.
Ford could call it the happy hubby option and it could be free, oh' wait nothing is free with Ford.

Put the wife in the back, this is where that "you better put the brakes on son" 360 technology kicks in, right?

Beginning with all new MY23 orders, the steering wheel is now optional. To work around the supply chain problems, Ford has instead included a Manual titled "Mastering Psychokinesis" to teach the driver to move the vehicle with his/her mind. This is also part of Ford's new "future forward" approach that was inspired by this innovative move to cut costs and build a more sustainable approach to production.

Ugh- I must be the odd man out. I have listened to baseball on the radio for 45 years, and it is always AM.
I love AM radio, especially at night driving down a desolate back road. It's nostalgia, and Ford doesn't care about that anymore. At least keep the AM, Ford, don't be extremely dumb.

All of this taking stuff away makes me suspicious about the little vacant cubby in the dash. That whole thing is kind of strange. Did Ford start taking things away early? Could that have been where my analog clock should have been? 😆

You can only stream if you have connection to the internet. Should the world go from sugar to shit, and the internet is down, the AM band might come in handy
Just remember not everybody lives in an area where cell service is good enough to stream. Just another little tidbit to remember when buying a new vehicle...does it have AM radio.

I remember the days of an "FM Converter" connected to the AM radio. Dedicated one of the AM push buttons to the converter. Damn - there is old dirt and I'm next to it. LOL!
And adding a reverberator to get Hifi sound! Good stuff.

Glad I got mine when I did. We have a local all news station that is world class and I really want that. There are also a couple of good sports talk stations.

You can pry my AM radio out of my cold dead fingers!

I grew up in West Texas in a small town and the 'skip' at night kept me entertained. I listened to Wolfman Jack out of Del Rio Texas and WLS in Chicago as well as San Antonio and New Orleans. Good rock stations all.

Now that is Bullshit! I know about half of us still listen to AM (especially when the Bluetooth disconnects our phone) AM is a very informative choice for Radio. You have Right Wing, Left Wing, Sports, Traffic and weather instantaneously. No cord or Bluetooth needed and it comes on as soon as the vehicle starts.

Don't they also use AM as the Emergency Radio Frequency if the shit hits the fan?
I haven't listened to AM radio since the mid 70's, back when WLS radio was the big thing. Now I don't even listen to FM anymore.

I haven't listened to terrestrial radio since I got Sirius Satellite Radio in 2005.
