How to track once shipped via rail?

I've seen some comments of people tracking their truck from the plant to the dealer. This is the information customer service gave me: Railcar # TTGX991523 (Ferrocarril Mexicano S.a. De C.v. ). Anyone know how to track this? Looks to be a Mexico based rail company.

There is a thread about tracking via rail using an automated phone system. Here is the link, it's a good read actually!

However, with it still being carried by the Mexican company, you may not be able to track it by the steps above until it gets into the States and is transferred to CSX (should be CSX if you're in Pittsburgh). Still waiting for mine to ship so that's the best I know.

I called and it just departed Texas today. Like you said not sure if this would work before if left Mexico though. For what it's worth, mine was built on 9/21 and today it had already left Texas.

Great to hear! Mine was built 8/25 and still hasn't shipped yet. There's a whole group of us near that build date waiting to ship. Don't know why. Hope you enjoy once you take delivery!

I just received the same info as you, almost the same numbers. Did you find a way to track your Mexican Rail car? How? thanks
