Just wondering if I was to remove my spray in liner from my roll over order, would it change my place in line?

No. That is an option/accessory you can add and remove without it resetting anything.

Not your place in line, but will reduce the chance you get kicked back.

YES, removing that constraint will increase your likely hood of being scheduled. ask anyone who didn't on their 2021 orders that went unfullfilled.

Ahh, we read the original question differently!

I read it as if it were asking "Will I screw myself and get bumped to the BACK of the line if I edit my order". You read it as "if I remove a constraint, can it help me?"

We are both right, depending on which version we are answering. Haha.

Just today, I removed my spray-in bedliner option to reduce the number of constrains that I had to get past. As my dealership said to me there is a reason that they split out those options, because they were holding up fulfillment of orders last year as part of the Luxury package. I am just going to line-x the bed after market.

So….. just got off phone with dealer and he told me “can’t change order because ford has locked order” . They tried to change someone else order this morning and couldn’t (accessories). I said to remove it when you can

I ordered the XLT Luxury package and I'm honestly considering removing it. The main things that really sold me were the steering wheel, inverter (cab and bed), and box lights. But if that's the difference between driving a new truck within a year or having to reorder in 24 it's not a game changer. Anyone else having those thoughts?

I ordered on 12/23/21 and told myself I’m ordering what I want but 10 months later I’ve changed my mind, now my dealer says it’s locked in from ford. Guess I’m just gonna wait

I considered it. But my wife has severe arthritis and the power seats and heat steering wheel, plus the inverter made us stick with it. Another consideration is I am one of the first in line at our dealership, since I am a roll over from last year. So with being an XLT, the Luxury package should hopefully be my only constraint from being picked up for production. Good luck!
