Canada order banks and private offers?

I wish dealers (who should know better) would get their terminology right. Body, PEP and some (US) option codes are showing up in WBDO, the web-based dealer order system, so they can "build" a truck using what's in there and save it. But all Mavericks are marked "NOT FOR SALE" if you are a Canadian dealer because FoMoCo is not taking orders yet - packaging and pricing are not complete for our market. In other words, they can build an order, but the order bank to receive it isn't open yet.

Dealers who are saying "order banks are open" or they "placed an order" just mean that the Maverick is showing up and they can build/save one in WBDO. Doesn't mean they can actually hit the button to submit the build to Ford - they cannot.

Lots of knowledgeable dealers are speculating as to when, and the consensus as mentioned before here is sometime between now and early October.

Can he actually place Canadian orders yet? or is only the pricing released?

Ugh. No W8G Tremor body code. Hopefully it will be added; would suck to not be offered in Canada.

Edit: NVM there it is. In Canada, the series code/pricing includes the PEP so it looks like the 17V/C Tremor packages just get added to BFG/BFL.

Same dealer posted this on Friday, so in theory we should see the tremor package.

And supposedly this dealer is submitting orders with pricing now, but I've not confirmed with my dealer yet if they can

Local dealer sent me the same price guide, said they were expecting more information in the next day or two.

Was looking at an XL Hybrid before the pricing came out. Now with only $1000 between XL Hybrid FWD and XL EcoBoost AWD I can't decide. Anyone else having this problem? Not sure if it is worth taking the mileage hit as I am mostly city driving with not much towing.

Was looking at an XL Hybrid before the pricing came out. Now with only $1000 between XL Hybrid FWD and XL EcoBoost AWD I can't decide. Anyone else having this problem? Not sure if it is worth taking the mileage hit as I am mostly city driving with not much towing.

I'm 90% city but I ordered the AWD earlier this year. Was initially wanting the fwd hybrid but with the amount of snow that we get in western Canada I had to lean towards the AWD and take the gas milage hit.

That's what it would appear like. Haven't seen a Canadian order guide come out yet to confirm for certain. But the Americans had it all last year, why we couldn't select it as an option is beyond me

Thanks all for the pricing details for Canada. So does this mean the US orders closing tomorrow for hybrid and Wednesday for ecoboost does not affect Canadian orders at all?

I’ve already paid deposit and filled out vehicle buyers agreement so just want this order to be submitted already.

Shouldn't. The U.S. and Canadian order dates have never really lined up like that.

Looks like the price for 2023 ecoboost has gone up by $1750 and few items like spare tire went up $35.

That's why the US customers with rollover/reorder 22 are getting that amount as rebates . We are not sure if we will be getting it in Canada . I really hope so . The only good news for me so far is the XL now comes with cruse control ,that I really wanted .
