There are thousands of 12v accessories out there, get creative. What video? Honestly, I was a little disappointed that the 110v plug wasn't standard as shown in the Ford site. I'm not sure what to do with a 12v plug.
I had one as well. Can anyone say exactly what was included in the bag with the floor mats? I have two mats, the 12V cord, and the gas funnel. Am I missing anything?I thought I read somewhere it’s supposed to come with two. But I only had one as well.
I did the same, I have lariat non-Lux and only have the 110v in the cabThe 110V/400W outlet in the cab was always an option and not standard. I added it to my order for $140 invoice price ($150 MSRP).
The one shown in the bed I believe only comes with the Luxury Packages.
Any thoughts on jerry can mounts in the maverick? I’m thinking about it but was not sure about drilling holes. You can still get metal jerry cans. They are stated to be for "non potable water" but the product is lined with a solvent proof coating. I may or may not have several in my shed, filled with gasoline. They may or may not be orders of magnitude better than the crappy plastic carb cans.
IDK. Just strap them in using the existing tie downs? If you get a can holder you would likely have to use screws.Any thoughts on jerry can mounts in the maverick? I’m thinking about it but was not sure about drilling holes.
I was looking for a locking option so I can leave them in full timeIDK. Just strap them in using the existing tie downs? If you get a can holder you would likely have to use screws.

The issue with metal gas cans is they sweat on the inside and are prone to water build up in the gas. Plastic cans aren't supposed to do that. With that said I have both like you filled with gas in my shed and make sure to treat every can with something like stabl regardless of how long the gas is being stored. You can still get metal jerry cans. Do you really think I would be here if I hadn’t looked? You aren't gonna make me do the LMGTFY thing are you?
That can only happen if the can isn't full and it gets colder than the dew point AND there is sufficient humidity in the air inside the can to condense. Store them full and you will never have a problem. The issue with metal gas cans is they sweat on the inside and are prone to water build up in the gas. Plastic cans aren't supposed to do that.
