I realized that my truck had this wire in my glove box. What is it for??? Did the dealer forget to install something?

Wires as shown in this video I'm sure, the truck should have plugs in it in the back, these pigtails would plug in and wire to a 12v accessory.

I thought I read somewhere it’s supposed to come with two. But I only had one as well.

It comes with one. The video says you have to get a second one.

What video? Honestly, I was a little disappointed that the 110v plug wasn't standard as shown in the Ford site. I'm not sure what to do with a 12v plug.

The 110V/400W outlet in the cab was always an option and not standard. I added it to my order for $140 invoice price ($150 MSRP).

The one shown in the bed I believe only comes with the Luxury Packages.

I was thinking of connecting LED lights there in the back. I've got a tonneau cover, could use some light back there. I wonder how much a 2nd wire harness like that costs?

You should also have a special funnel for fueling with a gas can as well . This is only used for adding gas from a separate plastic gas containers ( I know they aren't made of metal anymore for you skeptics that are sarcastic ) .

You can still get metal jerry cans. They are stated to be for "non potable water" but the product is lined with a solvent proof coating. I may or may not have several in my shed, filled with gasoline. They may or may not be orders of magnitude better than the crappy plastic carb cans.

Thanks for this info...I just picked up my Maverick today and was wondering what the funnel and wiring harness was for.
