I’m having a very similar problem right now myself. I’ve had it “repaired” once already. About to go through round two of the process to discover the problem.
I’m going through what sounds like the same thing on the opposite side. Originally I thought it was from that door being broken into. Window was fixed. Had the leak fixed 8+ months later. Now it’s leaking again…. 🫤
Good day y’all,
I’m writing to report an on going water leak on the driver side passenger door. This problem is most likely unique to me. I’ve had this window broken into and repaired. And then the water leak was noticed 8+ months later…. Though I got it repaired….. 3+ months after that it’s...
I ended up just mounting it to the floor of the bed in front of the wheel well. It’s not the most practical place especially if you’re planning on using the pigtails or anything else.
Sorry I don’t have a picture. I’m planning on going a different direction with those concepts in the future.
I almost did this myself, LINE-X does and color match option. When talking to them they said the could do that. But it ended up being a $300 difference and not as durable and Sun resistant. So I went with durability.
Hey y’all,
I’ve got two jerrys I’m looking to mount in the bed of my truck with locks and whatnot. My question is about using self tapping screws on the side walls or back wall against the cab. Has anyone done anything like that, is there anything I should be aware of?
